CLAUDE.md

dna-claude-analysis CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from shmlkv/dna-claude-analysis. It costs 506 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for a personal genome analysis toolkit that turns raw DNA data into Markdown reports and a single-page terminal-style webpage.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to run the DNA analysis scripts, create reports, or generate the specified HTML visualization from those reports.
Why use it?
They document the expected analysis workflow, commands, report locations, page structure, and visual rules for generating the final report.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00506 $0.00506
Opus 5 $0.00253 $0.00253
Sonnet 5 $0.00101 $0.00101
Haiku 4.5 $0.00051 $0.00051

Measured 9d ago against content hash c7b2b11171d8, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

dna-claude-analysis CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

DNA Analysis Project — Claude Instructions

Project Overview

Personal genome analysis toolkit. Scripts analyze raw DNA data and output markdown reports. The final step is generating a single-page HTML visualization in terminal/hacker aesthetic.

Workflow

1. User places DNA file in data/
2. Configure scripts: GENOME_FILE variable
3. Run analysis scripts → markdown reports in reports/
4. Generate webpage from reports → webpage/dna_terminal.html

Key Commands

Run All Analysis

cd scripts && for f in *_analysis.py; do python "$f"; done

Generate Webpage

After running scripts, user asks:

"Generate DNA Terminal webpage from the reports"

Webpage Generation

Reference webpage/STYLE_GUIDE.md for exact styling. Key points:

  • Single HTML file with inline CSS/JS
  • Terminal aesthetic: JetBrains Mono, green-on-black, Matrix vibes
  • Fixed header with navigation
  • Sections for each analysis category
  • Color coding: green=good, amber=warning, red=risk

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
