Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01120 | $0.01120 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00448 | $0.00448 |

Grade A, and why
skael AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 61 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
AGENTS.md
What this is
Skael is a self-hostable platform and CLI that manages AI agent skills across engineering teams, with a central registry, cross-agent sync, security scanning and activation tracking.
One Go module builds every binary under cmd/, and cmd/server embeds the React SPA from web/.
Run
cp .env.example .envcreates the local server config.just dbstarts Postgres, andjust devruns the server. Migrations run at server start.just buildbuilds every binary into bin/.justlists all recipes.just generatewrites the untracked OpenAPI document and web client. Run it before a web type-check or web test.site/src/content/docs/docs/configuration.mdlists every server and worker variable.
Test
just checkis the gate. It needs Docker.just test-fastskips testcontainers.just test-pkg internal/scantests one package.just test-integrationruns the real server tests.just test-dockerruns the sandbox tests.go vet -tags=integration ./...compiles the build-tagged e2e tests. Run it after a signature change.npx tsc -btype-checks the app from web/. Plain tsc --noEmit misses the app settings.- Run the server after a startup change. Package tests do not call server.Build.
- Run go test with -count=1. A cached pass already gave one false verification.
Stack rules
- The repository is public. Specs, plans, status and decisions live in the private build directory, .build, with docs as its symlink. A clone without it still builds.
- Before you change an area, read its section in that directory's decisions file if it exists. Never name a private file in a commit, a PR or a tracked file.
- The web app and site use npm, not Bun.
cmd/serverholds no Docker socket and no LLM key. Onlycmd/skael-workerruns evaluations, through the queue.- Register every API group inside RegisterAPIRoutes in
internal/server/routes.go. - Call every chi Use before any route registration, or the server panics at start.
- Prefix a Huma body type with its route group. The names are global, and a collision panics at start.
- A new Huma request field needs omitempty, or deployed clients get 422. An embedded response type must be exported.
- A new Postgres interval uses make_interval with an integer, not string concatenation.
- Migrations live in
internal/platform/migrate. Test one against a database at the prior version with MigrateUpTo. - A server-side scan calls scan.Relativize before it decides, stores or returns the report.
- A hold is a set of reasons. A verified score clears only scan, and an owner clears only ownership. Their persisted names never change.
- The server computes a contest verdict. A worker posts only measurements.
internal/eval/provideris the only place the environment becomes an LLM backend. Add a mode there, not a variable.- Install docs never offer go install, because
go.modhas a replace directive. - A commit message is a subject and a short paragraph of why. Detail goes in the PR body.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
