smartsheet-sdk-tests: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

smartsheet-sdk-tests AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from smartsheet/smartsheet-sdk-tests. It costs 683 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Repository instructions for a WireMock test server used by Smartsheet software libraries. WireMock is a tool that simulates API responses so code can be tested without contacting the real service.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when creating or reviewing WireMock mappings for Smartsheet API endpoints or adding test coverage.
Why use it?
They explain how to organise and review mock API mappings and keep SDK tests consistent without depending on a live API.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00683 $0.00683
Opus 5 $0.00342 $0.00342
Sonnet 5 $0.00137 $0.00137
Haiku 4.5 $0.00068 $0.00068

Measured 8d ago against content hash 275951c17a75, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

smartsheet-sdk-tests AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Agent Documentation

Project Overview

This repository provides a standalone WireMock server for contract testing Smartsheet SDKs. It validates SDK behavior against consistent mock API responses without relying on the live API. As an AI agent, you'll primarily create and review WireMock mapping files that simulate Smartsheet API endpoints.

  • README.md - How to run WireMock, project setup, basic concepts
  • CONTRIBUTING.md - Full contribution guidelines, what we test, designing test cases, mapping creation details
  • mappings/ - All WireMock mapping files organized by API group

Available Skills

create-wiremock-mappings

When to use: Creating new WireMock mappings for Smartsheet API endpoints

  • User asks to create mappings for an API group
  • User provides OpenAPI specs to generate tests from
  • User requests test coverage for new endpoints

review-wiremock-mappings

When to use: Reviewing WireMock mapping files for quality and correctness

  • Code review requests for mapping PRs
  • Verification before merge
  • Quality checks on WireMock submissions

Key Repository Structure

Directory Organization

  • mappings/{api-group}/{api-endpoint-name}/ - Mapping files organized by API group and endpoint
  • mappings/errors/ - Common error response mappings (4XX, 5XX)
  • mappings/scenarios/ - Legacy scenarios (being migrated)

Test Naming Convention

Format: /{api-group}/{api-endpoint-name}/{test-case-name}

Example: /users/get-user/required-response-body-properties

Required Headers

Every mapping must include:

  • x-test-name - Unique identifier for mapping matching (format: /{api-group}/{api-endpoint-name}/{test-case-name})
  • x-request-id - UUID for request tracing via WireMock Admin API
  • Authorization - Pattern match to verify SDK sends auth (e.g., "matches": "Bearer .*")

Path Matching

Use urlPathTemplate wherever possible for path matching:

"urlPathTemplate": "/2.0/users/{userId}"

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
