Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01618 $0.01618
Opus 5 $0.00809 $0.00809
Sonnet 5 $0.00324 $0.00324
Haiku 4.5 $0.00162 $0.00162

Measured 9d ago against content hash 64112c218b5e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

claude-epub-skill CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Markdown to EPUB Skill - Development Guide

Project Overview

A Claude agent skill that converts markdown documents into professional EPUB3 ebook files. This is a custom skill implementation demonstrating how to build Claude Code skills with file generation capabilities.

Quick Start

Setup

# Install dependencies
pip install -r markdown-to-epub/requirements.txt

# Test the skill
python test_epub_skill.py

Usage

from markdown_to_epub.scripts.epub_generator import create_epub_from_markdown

create_epub_from_markdown(
    markdown_content,
    output_path="output.epub",
    title="My Book",
    author="Author Name"
)

Claude Skills Development Guidelines

Skill Definition (SKILL.md)

  • Must include YAML frontmatter with name and description
  • Description should be clear and actionable for Claude to understand when to use the skill
  • Include detailed usage examples showing input formats and expected outputs
  • Document all supported features and edge cases

Python Implementation

  • Keep dependencies minimal and well-documented in requirements.txt
  • Separate concerns: parsing logic vs. file generation
  • Handle edge cases gracefully (empty input, malformed markdown, etc.)
  • Include comprehensive error handling and validation

Testing

  • Create standalone test file that validates all major functionality
  • Test edge cases: empty content, special characters, long documents
  • Verify output file quality and standards compliance
  • Make tests runnable without external dependencies

Development Best Practices

Code Organization

  • Processing Scripts: Put core logic in scripts/ directory
  • Configuration: Use YAML frontmatter in SKILL.md for metadata
  • Resources: Keep static assets (CSS, templates) in resources/ (if needed)
  • Tests: Standalone test files at project root

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
