webability-mcp: Instructions file for Gemini CLI

GEMINI.md

webability-mcp GEMINI.md is an instructions file for Gemini CLI from snayyar00/webability-mcp. It costs 232 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Command instructions for WebAbility's accessibility tools. They explain how to scan pages, apply or propose fixes for WCAG issues, and verify that a fix removed the issue.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to scan a local or remote page, review findings, generate or apply fixes, and verify individual WCAG rules.
Why use it?
They distinguish automatic code changes from fixes that need human judgement, reducing the risk of changing accessibility behaviour incorrectly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00232 $0.00232
Opus 5.5 $0.00093 $0.00093
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00046 $0.00046
Haiku 4.5 $0.00023 $0.00023

Security

Grade A, and why

webability-mcp GEMINI.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

WebAbility accessibility tools

Use these tools when the user asks about accessibility, WCAG, ADA, Section 508, or screen-reader support.

  • Scan a page: scan_page with url. For a local dev server, run webability-tunnel --port 3000 and pass its URL with tunnel_secret.
  • Results list issues (violations the scanner stands behind) and a summary. Uncertain findings are judged or dropped, never listed for review.
  • Each issue has fix.op and fixability: apply mechanical fixes as given, write the value for contextual ones, and only propose visual ones.
  • After you edit the code, call verify_fix with the same url, the selector, and the rule (wcag) to confirm the issue is gone.
  • generate_ai_fix drafts a code fix for one issue. get_rules lists every rule.
  • Free for everyone. visual_audit and start_audit need a free WebAbility account; the client asks you to sign in.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
