solana-vault-standard: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

solana-vault-standard CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from solanabr/solana-vault-standard. It costs 1,458 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for Solana Vault Standard, a set of Solana programs that represent ownership of deposited tokens through transferable shares. They describe the Rust, Anchor, Token-2022, and TypeScript codebase and its required development workflow.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when changing the vault programs to follow the required branch process, validate accounts and arithmetic safely, run the mandated checks, and deploy to devnet before any approved mainnet deployment.
Why use it?
They tell an AI coding agent how the project is organized and which build, formatting, linting, testing, branch, and deployment rules apply. They also highlight security requirements for blockchain program changes.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01458 $0.01458
Opus 5 $0.00729 $0.00729
Sonnet 5 $0.00292 $0.00292
Haiku 4.5 $0.00146 $0.00146

Measured 10d ago against content hash 337318370385, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

solana-vault-standard CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Solana Tokenized Vault Standard

Native port of ERC-4626 to Solana. 14 programs (SVS-1 through SVS-12 + mock-oracle + mock-sas) implementing tokenized vaults with shares representing proportional ownership of underlying SPL tokens.

Stack: Anchor 0.31+, Rust 1.82+, Token-2022, TypeScript AI Tooling: solana-claude for skills, rules, agents, and MCP servers

Communication Style

  • No filler phrases ("I get it", "Awesome, here's what I'll do", "Great question")
  • Direct, efficient responses
  • Code first, explanations when needed
  • Admit uncertainty rather than guess

Branch Workflow

All new work: git checkout -b <type>/<scope>-<description>-<DD-MM-YYYY>. Use /quick-commit for automation.

Mandatory Workflow

Every program change:

  1. Build: anchor build or cargo build-sbf
  2. Format: cargo fmt
  3. Lint: cargo clippy -- -W clippy::all
  4. Test: Unit + integration + fuzz
  5. Deploy: Devnet first, mainnet with explicit confirmation

Security Principles

NEVER:

  • Deploy to mainnet without explicit user confirmation
  • Use unchecked arithmetic in programs
  • Skip account validation
  • Use unwrap() in program code
  • Recalculate PDA bumps on every call
  • Trust CPI return data without validating target program ID
  • Use init_if_needed on PDA data accounts (reinit attack). Exception: ATAs with associated_token constraint
  • Allow share price manipulation via direct token transfers
  • Skip virtual shares/assets offset (inflation attack vector)
  • Round in favor of user over vault on entry/exit

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
