Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00583 $0.00583
Opus 5 $0.00292 $0.00292
Sonnet 5 $0.00117 $0.00117
Haiku 4.5 $0.00058 $0.00058

Measured 10d ago against content hash 79e69ebc04d3, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

imgx-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

CLAUDE.md — imgx-mcp

Overview

AI image generation and editing — CLI + MCP server. v1.1.1.

Release flow

All steps in RELEASING.md are mandatory. The flow covers: imgx-mcp (test → version update → build → publish) → app-division-ops docs → public distribution.

Development commands

npm test # Vitest — 54 tests (config 11 + history 37 + storage 6)
npm run bundle # tsc + esbuild → dist/cli.bundle.js + dist/mcp.bundle.js
npm run build:skill-zip # Python script → dist/image-generation-skill.zip

Architecture

CLI and MCP are two entry points sharing the same core:

CLI (argument parsing, output formatting) MCP Server (tool definitions, stdio)
 ↓ ↓
Core
 ├─ Capability enum ← model-independent feature definitions
├─ ImageProvider interface ← provider contract
├─ Provider Registry ← registration and lookup
├─ Storage ← file I/O (session ID directory support)
 └─ History ← session management, undo/redo, history
 ↓
Provider (model-specific)
 ├─ Gemini ← @google/genai
└─ OpenAI ← native fetch (no npm dependency)

Adding a new provider requires no changes to the CLI or MCP layers.

Project configuration

  • .imgxrc — Project-level defaults (output dir, provider, model, aspect ratio, resolution). Searched from CWD upward. Shareable via git (no API keys).
  • Project-scoped history — When .imgxrc is detected, history is stored at <project-root>/.imgx/output-history.json (isolated per project).
  • Config resolution order — CLI flags → environment variables → .imgxrc → user config → provider defaults.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
