kmp-stellar-sdk: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

kmp-stellar-sdk CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from Soneso/kmp-stellar-sdk. It costs 10,254 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A project guide for a Kotlin Multiplatform Stellar SDK. Kotlin Multiplatform lets one codebase target platforms such as Android, iOS, servers, browsers, and macOS; Stellar is a network for digital payments and assets.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when working on Stellar transaction building, account and asset handling, cryptographic signing, Horizon or RPC connections, and smart-account wallets.
Why use it?
It gives coding agents the project’s current platform support and implemented SDK capabilities, reducing the risk of changing code with the wrong assumptions.

Instructions file for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: Claude Code plugin machinery. Also seen: mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions Claude Code.

This is Soneso/kmp-stellar-sdk's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on kmp-stellar-sdk itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything kmp-stellar-sdk configures →

Not installable: its command points at a path on the author’s own machine, so it runs nowhere else. The line is /Users/chris/projects/Stellar/java-stellar-sdk.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.10254 $0.10254
Opus 5 $0.05127 $0.05127
Sonnet 5 $0.02051 $0.02051
Haiku 4.5 $0.01025 $0.01025

Security

Grade A, and why

kmp-stellar-sdk CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

This is a Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) project for building a Stellar SDK. The SDK provides APIs to:

  • Build Stellar transactions
  • Connect to Horizon (Stellar's API server)
  • Connect to Stellar RPC Server
  • Build smart account wallets with passkey authentication using OpenZeppelin smart contracts

Current State

The SDK is production-ready with comprehensive functionality implemented:

Platform Support

  • JVM: Android API 24+, Server applications (Java 17+)
  • iOS: iOS 14.0+ (iosX64, iosArm64, iosSimulatorArm64)
  • macOS: macOS 11.0+ (macosX64, macosArm64)
  • JavaScript: Browser (WebAssembly) and Node.js 14+

Core SDK Features (Implemented)

  • Cryptography: Ed25519 keypair generation, signing, verification
  • StrKey Encoding: G... (accounts), S... (seeds), M... (muxed), C... (contracts)
  • Transaction Building: All 27 Stellar operations, TransactionBuilder, FeeBumpTransaction
  • Assets: Native (XLM), AlphaNum4, AlphaNum12, SAC contract ID derivation
  • Accounts: Account management, muxed accounts, sequence numbers
  • Horizon Client: Full REST API coverage, SSE streaming, request builders
  • Soroban RPC: Contract calls, simulation, state restoration, polling, CAP-85 external reference resolution and deployment (ContractClient.deployFromExternalRef, Address.deriveContractId)
  • High-Level API: ContractClient, AssembledTransaction with full lifecycle
  • XDR: Complete XDR type system and serialization
  • SEP Support: SEP-1 (Stellar TOML), SEP-2 (Federation Protocol), SEP-5 (Key Derivation), SEP-6 (Deposit and Withdrawal API), SEP-8 (Regulated Assets), SEP-9/12 (KYC), SEP-10 (Web Authentication), SEP-24 (Hosted Deposit/Withdrawal), SEP-30 (Account Recovery), SEP-31 (Cross-Border Payments), SEP-38 (Anchor RFQ), SEP-45 (Web Authentication for Contract Accounts), SEP-46 (Contract Meta), SEP-47 (Contract Interface Discovery), SEP-48 (Contract Interface Specification), SEP-51 (XDR-JSON), SEP-53 (Sign and Verify Messages)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
