arra-oracle-skills-cli: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

arra-oracle-skills-cli CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from Soul-Brews-Studio/arra-oracle-skills-cli. It costs 2,522 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for the Oracle Skills command-line tool, which installs and distributes instructions for AI coding agents. It defines which skills are public and which remain internal or archived.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding, curating, archiving, installing, or publishing skills through the CLI and its supported agent integrations.
Why use it?
It prevents private or archived skills from being published accidentally and keeps the public catalogue consistent with generated marketplace data.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02522 $0.02522
Opus 5 $0.01261 $0.01261
Sonnet 5 $0.00504 $0.00504
Haiku 4.5 $0.00252 $0.00252

Security

Grade A, and why

arra-oracle-skills-cli CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Oracle Skills CLI

Skills are the Only Source of Truth

There is no src/commands/ directory anymore. Command stubs are generated inline by the installer at install time (src/cli/installer.ts) for agents that need them (OpenCode, Codex, Gemini). Claude Code invokes SKILL.md directly as /name.

Public Shelf / Vault Split (the layout invariant)

skills/ = public shelf. src/skills/ = vault. Membership IS curation.

  • skills/ — the curated set. Every external channel serves exactly this directory: our CLI profiles, the Claude plugin marketplace (.claude-plugin/marketplace.json is generated from it 1:1), and npx skills add Soul-Brews-Studio/arra-oracle-skills-cli (it's the vercel CLI's priority-scan dir — finding it suppresses the recursive fallback). No secret/hidden/zombie flag ever belongs here (compile fails).
  • src/skills/ — everything non-public: release-alpha/release-beta (secret), .archive/ (zombies — still installable via -s <name>), .template/. All carry metadata: internal: true so external installers skip them even under --full-depth. The archive never moves to the shelf — the vercel CLI scans dot-dirs inside containers.
  • A skill name existing in BOTH roots is a split-brain (usually a rebase resurrecting src/skills/<name> after its move) — compile, generate-vfs, and discoverSkills all fail hard with a git mv hint.

How It Works

skills/ + src/skills/ → bun run compile → .claude-plugin/marketplace.json
(shelf) (vault) (validate + gates) (= readdir(skills/) exactly)

Workflow

  1. Edit skill in skills/{name}/SKILL.md (shelf) or src/skills/ (vault)
  2. Run bun run compile — validates frontmatter + regenerates marketplace.json (the lefthook pre-commit regen-manifest hook does this automatically)
  3. Commit the marketplace.json change with your skill change (CI fails on drift)

Creating New Skills

IMPORTANT: Every SKILL.md must have frontmatter with name and description:

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
