Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01966 | $0.01966 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00983 | $0.00983 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00393 | $0.00393 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00197 | $0.00197 |
Grade A, and why
mcp-coupang-server CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 238 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Overview
This is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for Coupang Partners API integration. The project is PRODUCTION READY and published on PyPI as mcp-coupang-server.
MCP is a protocol that allows AI models to interact with external tools and data sources through standardized server implementations. This server enables Claude Desktop to search products, get category best sellers, and create affiliate deeplinks using Coupang Partners API.
Project Status
- ✅ Version: 1.0.0
- ✅ Published on PyPI:
pip install mcp-coupang-server - ✅ All Tests Passing: 54 tests (unit + integration)
- ✅ Active Tools: 3 tools (search_products, get_best_products_by_category, create_deeplinks)
- ✅ Disabled Tools: get_product_details (commented out, not in use)
Development Setup
This project uses uv for Python package management (Python 3.13+).
Install Dependencies
uv sync
Run the Server
uv run python main.py
Run Tests
# All tests
uv run pytest
# Specific test file
uv run pytest tests/test_client.py
# With coverage
uv run pytest --cov=src --cov-report=html
MCP Server Architecture
MCP servers expose tools, resources, and prompts that AI models can use. This server implements the MCP protocol using the mcp package (version >=1.19.0).
Key Concepts
- Tools: Functions that the AI can call to perform actions (e.g., search products, get best products by category, create deeplinks)
- Resources: Data sources that can be read (currently not implemented)
- Prompts: Pre-defined prompt templates for common tasks (currently not implemented)
Server Structure
- Server initialization using
mcp.server.Server()insrc/server.py - Tool handlers with
@server.list_tools()and@server.call_tool()decorators - Server running via stdio transport for Claude Desktop integration
- Asynchronous HTTP client using
aiohttpinsrc/coupang_client.py
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

mcp-coupang-server CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository space-cap/mcp-coupang-server (0 stars, last pushed 10mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,966 tokens to every session, about $0.0098 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
