storybook-mcp is a Python MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects AI coding agents to a running Storybook instance. It exposes four tools over the MCP stdio transport so agents can browse, inspect, create, and compose UI components without leaving their workflow.

Everything lives in a single server.py file. This is intentional — MCP servers should be easy to audit and deploy. If the file grows beyond ~2000 lines, consider splitting into tools.py, models.py, and codegen.py within the same package.
