In plain words
What is it for?
Run, build, lint, and modify the website while following its framework, port, styling, and dependency rules.
Why use it?
They give coding agents the project’s required conventions, helping them avoid using the wrong routing system, package manager, or configuration style.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.03382 $0.03382
Opus 5 $0.01691 $0.01691
Sonnet 5 $0.00676 $0.00676
Haiku 4.5 $0.00338 $0.00338

Security

Grade A, and why

purplemux CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

CLAUDE.md

This document defines the rules and conventions Claude Code must follow when working on this project.

AI-generated code should look as if a senior engineer wrote it. Avoid excessive comments, unnecessary explanations, and AI-specific patterns.

Always respond in the same language the user wrote in. Project rules like "commit messages in English" apply only to the artifacts they describe — they do not change the conversation language.

Project Overview

  • Framework: Next.js (Pages Router)
  • Package manager: pnpm
  • Styling: Tailwind CSS v4 + shadcn/ui
  • Language: TypeScript

Port

The default port is 8022 (a portmanteau of web + ssh). It can be overridden via the PORT env var in server.ts.

Core Rules

1. Next.js Configuration

  • Use the Pages Router (not the App Router)
  • Do not use the "use client" directive
  • Starting with Next.js 16, middleware.ts was renamed to proxy.ts. In this project, src/proxy.ts serves as the auth middleware

2. Package Management

pnpm add <package> # install package
pnpm add -D <package> # install dev dependency
pnpm dev / pnpm build / pnpm lint

Do not use npm or yarn. Always use pnpm.

3. File Naming Convention

All filenames use lowercase and dashes (-):

✅ header-navigation.tsx, use-auth.ts
❌ HeaderNavigation.tsx, useAuth.ts

4. TypeScript Conventions

Interface / Type
interface IUser {
  id: string;
  name: string;
} // I prefix
type TUserRole = 'admin' | 'user' | 'guest'; // T prefix, union type
Function Definition Style

Use arrow functions instead of the function keyword:

// ✅ preferred
const handleClick = () => {
  // ...
};

const fetchData = async () => {
  // ...
};

// ❌ avoid
function handleClick() {
  // ...
}
Import Path

Use the alias (@/) instead of relative paths (../):

import { Button } from '@/components/ui/button';
import { useAuth } from '@/hooks/use-auth';

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
