stokowski: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

stokowski CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from Sugar-Coffee/stokowski. It costs 7,031 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A set of instructions for Stokowski, a Python service that coordinates Claude Code agents through Linear issues. Linear is a project-management tool where issues track work, and Stokowski gives agents isolated workspaces and manages their sessions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when developing or maintaining Stokowski, especially its Linear integration, workspace setup, agent launching, retries, state reconciliation, dashboard, or terminal interface.
Why use it?
It gives contributors one reference for understanding the service's purpose, architecture, and important design choices. This makes it easier to work on the codebase consistently.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.07031 $0.07031
Opus 5 $0.03515 $0.03515
Sonnet 5 $0.01406 $0.01406
Haiku 4.5 $0.00703 $0.00703

Security

Grade A, and why

stokowski CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Stokowski

Claude Code adaptation of OpenAI's Symphony. Orchestrates Claude Code agents via Linear issues.

This file is the single source of truth for contributors. It covers architecture, design decisions, key behaviours, and how to work on the codebase.

What it does

Stokowski is a long-running Python daemon that:

  1. Polls Linear for issues in configured active states
  2. Creates an isolated git-cloned workspace per issue
  3. Launches Claude Code (claude -p) in that workspace
  4. Manages multi-turn sessions via --resume <session_id>
  5. Retries failures with exponential backoff
  6. Reconciles running agents against Linear state changes
  7. Exposes a live web dashboard and terminal UI

The agent prompt, runtime config, and workspace setup all live in workflow.yaml in the operator's directory — not in this codebase.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
