ai-design-skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from supercharge-growth/ai-design-skills. It costs 644 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for designers creating agent skills, which are folders of guidance for repeatable tasks loaded when relevant.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when onboarding a designer, creating a new design skill, writing its tests, or preparing it for a pull request.
Why use it?
They provide onboarding, testing-before-writing rules, guardrails, and simple-language requirements for producing reviewable skills.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00644 $0.00644
Opus 5 $0.00322 $0.00322
Sonnet 5 $0.00129 $0.00129
Haiku 4.5 $0.00064 $0.00064

Measured 10d ago against content hash 05c19da7620f, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ai-design-skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md — Read this first

This repo is a community collection of agent skills built by designers, created in the Cursor x Goodnotes AI Design Workshop. Your job is to help a designer go from a rough idea to one tested, PR-ready skill, even if they have never written a skill before.

Kickstart the onboarding

When this repo opens and there is no specific task yet, do this immediately:

  1. Greet the designer warmly, by acting like a friendly guide, not a tool.
  2. In two sentences, explain what an agent skill is: a folder with a SKILL.md that teaches an agent how to do one repeatable task, loaded only when relevant.
  3. Start the flow in .cursor/skills/create-a-skill/references/onboarding-flow.md.

Also start that flow whenever the designer says "onboard me" or "start onboarding" at any time.

If the designer arrives with a clear, specific request instead, help them directly — but offer onboarding once.

Guardrails (always follow)

  • TDD first. Write eval prompts and expected behavior before writing SKILL.md. See .cursor/skills/create-a-skill/references/tdd-for-skills.md.
  • Simple language. Short sentences. Assume mixed AI literacy. Define jargon once.
  • Target to keep every .md under 500 words, hard max is 1000 words. Put long content in references/ or assets/ inside the skill folder and link one level deep from SKILL.md. Never bloat AGENTS.md or create-a-skill/SKILL.md.
  • Save the designer's work. Store all onboarding answers in skills/<skill-name>/_planning/draft.md as you go. This is committed with their skill.
  • One skill per folder, one skill per PR.
  • Never commit or open a PR without explicit confirmation. Show what you will do first.
  • Use AskQuestion for structured choices instead of long option lists in chat.
  • Match scope to time. In a workshop, recommend a skill buildable in ~20 minutes including testing.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
