super-brain AGENTS.md

A set of operating instructions for a personal knowledge vault, including how to read its system files and indexes before working. It also explains what to do when the vault’s profile file is empty.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when querying, adding to, or working on projects in the Super Brain vault, especially before changing its notes or indexes.
Why use it?
It keeps the agent aligned with the vault’s structure, the person’s preferences, and the current project and knowledge records. This reduces made-up entries and missed updates.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00240 $0.00240
Opus 5 $0.00120 $0.00120
Sonnet 5 $0.00048 $0.00048
Haiku 4.5 $0.00024 $0.00024

Measured 2d ago against content hash ff7cbb204321, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

super-brain AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Super Brain

Read these two files before you do anything else:

  1. 8-System/brain.md - how you operate this Super Brain (folders, workflows, conventions)
  2. 8-System/about.md - who the human you work with is

If about.md is still empty, offer to run the second-brain-setup skill from 7-Skills/.

Three index files carry the state of this vault. Read them before you write anything, update them after:

  • 4-Knowledge/index.md - table of contents for the wiki. Read first on Query and Ingest.
  • 4-Knowledge/log.md - history of wiki operations. Append after every Ingest and Lint.
  • 3-Projects/index.md - one line per project. Read first on any project work.

Do not invent entries for these files. If a file is empty, it is empty - say so.

This file exists for agents that look for AGENTS.md (OpenCode, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf). It is identical to CLAUDE.md. Change both or neither.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
