claude-persona: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

claude-persona CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from takechanman1228/claude-persona. It costs 2,159 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for Claude Code, an AI coding assistant, describing a persona-based product research tool. The tool creates simulated customer panels, tests product ideas, and produces reports.

In plain words
What is it for?
Running all tests, one test file, or one test; previewing survey prompts; and running simulated concept research with an authenticated Claude command-line tool.
Why use it?
They give the assistant the project context and commands needed to work safely and run checks. They also make it easier to preview or repeat research simulations.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02159 $0.02159
Opus 5 $0.01079 $0.01079
Sonnet 5 $0.00432 $0.00432
Haiku 4.5 $0.00216 $0.00216

Security

Grade A, and why

claude-persona CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What This Is

A Claude Code skill (/persona) inspired by TinyTroupe that builds market-specific persona panels and pressure-tests product concepts before fieldwork. It generates diverse personas, simulates independent concept test responses via claude -p subprocesses (one per persona), analyzes results, and produces executive reports.

Common Commands

# Run all tests (150 unit tests, no external dependencies needed)
python -m pytest tests/ -q

# Run a single test file
python -m pytest tests/test_simulate_survey.py -q

# Run a single test
python -m pytest tests/test_simulate_survey.py::ValidateResponseTests::test_accepts_canonical_nested_concept_response -q

# Run survey simulation (requires claude CLI authenticated)
python scripts/simulate_survey.py --config demo/running-shoes/concept-test/config.json

# Dry-run (preview prompts without executing)
python scripts/simulate_survey.py --config demo/running-shoes/concept-test/config.json --dry-run

# Run with analysis + LLM report
python scripts/simulate_survey.py --config demo/running-shoes/concept-test/config.json --analyze --report-llm

# Run with a different model (aliases or full IDs; e.g. Claude Fable 5)
python scripts/simulate_survey.py --config ... --model fable --fallback-model sonnet

# Run analysis only on existing results
python scripts/analyze_results.py --input outputs/.../results.json --survey-type concept-test

# Install analysis dependencies (only needed for analyze_results.py)
pip install pandas matplotlib seaborn

Architecture

3-Step Workflow (maps to TinyTroupe)

Step Skill TinyTroupe equivalent
1. Build Panel Panel Builder generates diverse personas TinyPersonFactory
2. Run Concept Test Simulation Engine runs agent-separated interviews TinyWorld
3. Review Findings Analysis Pipeline produces report + charts Extract & Analyze

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
