MV-MCP-server: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

MV-MCP-server CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from talirezun/MV-MCP-server. It costs 966 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of working instructions for developing the MV Travel MCP server, an application that gives AI assistants access to accommodation data. It requires reading and saving the project's shared working state during development.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when starting or resuming work on the server, making material decisions, or recording progress before stopping.
Why use it?
It reduces lost context between sessions and helps keep changes safe for a production service with real users. It also defines when to reload project context and how to save handoffs.

Written for Claude Code: the file is CLAUDE.md. Also seen: mentions Claude Code; mentions OpenCode.

This is talirezun/MV-MCP-server's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on MV-MCP-server itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything MV-MCP-server configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00966 $0.00966
Opus 5.5 $0.00386 $0.00386
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00193 $0.00193
Haiku 4.5 $0.00097 $0.00097

Security

Grade A, and why

MV-MCP-server CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

MV Travel MCP Server

MCP server giving AI assistants access to the MV Travel (formerly MountVacation) accommodation API. It is in production with real users — treat every change as a production change.

Working state

This repository's working state lives in The Curator (project projects/mv-travel-mcp, see .curator-project). At the START of every session call the my-curator MCP tool get_project_context with project "mv-travel-mcp" and read the standing brief and latest handoff before acting. When the user says continue or resume, or you come back after a pause, call get_project_context again before acting — another tool or computer may have saved since. SAVE with save_working_state under project "mv-travel-mcp" with the scope argument set to your tool's name — "claude-code" if you are Claude Code, "antigravity" if you are Antigravity, "opencode" if you are opencode, otherwise your tool's own name, lowercase and hyphenated. Pass scope explicitly every time, and never save under another tool's scope. Save after every material decision, at least every ten tool calls, and ALWAYS before you stop; a save overwrites, so send the complete state each time. Pass harness as that same name and model as your exact model id if you know it (omit it otherwise — never search files for it), and record the seen map as foundations_read.

This project also keeps foundations — canonical documents such as its architecture and firm decisions — that travel with it. get_project_context is the call that returns them with the brief and handoff, so make it your first action of the session, before you read code or run anything. Its seen map holds their hashes: passing that back as foundations_read on every save is how the next session learns which of them changed.

Some foundations may be skeletons — prompts, not facts; the document says so at the top. As you learn the project, fill each one and save it with save_foundation (commissioned_by_owner: true — this block is the owner's commission). If the project has a repository, export the filled foundations into its docs/ folder on the first commit.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
