gsap-transform: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

gsap-transform AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from taotao135791-bit/gsap-transform. It costs 1,296 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for GSAP Transform, a community system for creating web animations with the GSAP JavaScript library. They require agents to decide the motion design, represent it as timeline data, and then implement it.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when creating or changing GSAP animations, including their design direction, state data, reusable motion pieces, and implementation.
Why use it?
They keep animation decisions consistent and discourage coding motion from unexamined defaults.

Instructions file for CodexOpenCode

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions Claude Code; mentions Gemini CLI.

This is taotao135791-bit/gsap-transform's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on gsap-transform itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything gsap-transform configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01296 $0.01296
Opus 5 $0.00648 $0.00648
Sonnet 5 $0.00259 $0.00259
Haiku 4.5 $0.00130 $0.00130

Measured 8d ago against content hash 28adc5cd3ee1, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

gsap-transform AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

GSAP Transform — Hard Rules for AI Coding Agents

This file is the source of truth for coding agents using this repository. Claude Code and Gemini import it through CLAUDE.md and GEMINI.md.

GSAP Transform is a third-party, community, agent-oriented GSAP motion skill system. It is not an official GreenSock or Webflow project.

Before changing or generating motion, read skills/llms.txt.

Product Path

Always traverse the three-layer system in this order:

  1. Design Layer — decide motion taste before code.
    • skills/motion-design-taste/
    • skills/motion-anti-slop/
    • skills/video-grammar/ when the artifact is video-like
  2. State Layer — edit the motion timeline as data.
    • skills/motion-state/
    • skills/motion-primitives/
    • templates/{slug}/state.json
  3. API Layer — use GSAP implementation details only after direction and state are clear.
    • skills/gsap-core/
    • skills/gsap-timeline/
    • skills/gsap-scrolltrigger/
    • skills/gsap-plugins/
    • skills/gsap-react/
    • skills/gsap-frameworks/
    • skills/gsap-performance/

Default workflow:

Brief / product context
  -> Design Read
  -> motion dials
  -> state.json edits
  -> primitives
  -> generated scene
  -> preview/render
  -> anti-slop check

Design Read

Before writing GSAP code, output one line:

Reading this as: {page kind} for {audience}, with a {vibe} language, leaning toward {aesthetic family} and {motion language}.

Then pick a motion mode:

  • Restrained
  • Expressive
  • Cinematic

Let duration, ease, and stagger inherit from the selected mode.

State Is The Default Source

  • state.json is the default source of truth.
  • scene.js / scene.mjs are generated artifacts.
  • Do not hand-edit generated scene.js as the normal agent workflow.
  • After editing state.json, regenerate:
node scripts/state-to-scene.mjs projects/{slug}

Hand-written scenes are allowed only as an explicit escape hatch for advanced users or historical examples.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
