Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01485 $0.01485
Opus 5 $0.00743 $0.00743
Sonnet 5 $0.00297 $0.00297
Haiku 4.5 $0.00148 $0.00148

Measured 11d ago against content hash bc2dec382750, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

cc-marketplace CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Repository Overview

This is a Claude Code plugin marketplace - a monorepo containing example plugins demonstrating different plugin capabilities. Users install this marketplace to access all contained plugins.

Architecture

Two-Level Structure

The marketplace has a registry (.claude-plugin/marketplace.json) that references individual plugins (plugins/*/). Each plugin is self-contained with its own metadata.

.claude-plugin/marketplace.json → Central registry (lists all plugins)
plugins/python-dev/ → Comprehensive Python dev plugin (skills + commands)

Plugin Types & Key Differences

  1. Slash Commands (user-invoked): Filename in commands/*.md becomes command name (e.g., hello.md/hello)
  2. Agent Skills (autonomous): Must be in skills/skill-name/SKILL.md format. Claude decides when to invoke.
  3. MCP Servers (external tools): Configured in plugin's plugin.json under "mcp" key with command/args

Required Plugin Files

Every plugin needs:

  • .claude-plugin/plugin.json - Metadata (name, version, author, description)
  • README.md - User documentation

Adding a New Plugin

  1. Copy template:

    cp -r plugins/python-dev plugins/my-plugin # Use python-dev as template

  2. Update metadata in plugins/my-plugin/.claude-plugin/plugin.json:

    • Change name, description, version
    • Update author (name and email)
  3. Register in .claude-plugin/marketplace.json:

    • Add entry to plugins array
    • Set source to "./plugins/my-plugin"
    • Choose appropriate category: development, testing, documentation, productivity, devops
  4. Test locally before committing:

    cp -r plugins/my-plugin ~/.claude/plugins/
    # Reload Claude Code or use /plugin list

Validation Commands

# Validate marketplace.json structure
cat .claude-plugin/marketplace.json | jq .

# Validate all plugin.json files
find plugins -name "plugin.json" -exec jq . {} \;

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
