AI-CLI-Memory-Sync-Repo AGENTS.md

AI-CLI-Memory-Sync-Repo AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from Tawe/AI-CLI-Memory-Sync-Repo. It costs 299 tokens per session, scanned C, a copy of AI-CLI-Memory-Sync-Repo copilot-instructions.md, MIT.

A repository instruction guide for AI coding tools. It explains the project's commands, branch and commit conventions, architecture, and required workflow for keeping instruction files synchronized.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when working on the Tawe/AI-CLI-Memory-Sync-Repo, especially before changing AI instructions, syncing tool-specific files, or checking whether they are up to date.
Why use it?
It prevents developers or AI tools from editing generated instruction files that will later be overwritten. It also documents the single source file and the check used to detect outdated copies.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00299 $0.00299
Opus 5 $0.00150 $0.00150
Sonnet 5 $0.00060 $0.00060
Haiku 4.5 $0.00030 $0.00030

Measured 4d ago against content hash acf71d79f69b, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade C, and why

AI-CLI-Memory-Sync-Repo AGENTS.md scanned grade C with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Hidden instructionshighPrompt injection

Directives inside HTML comments, invisible characters or bidirectional overrides are read by the model and not by the person reviewing the file.

What it actually says

AI Instructions

This file provides guidance to WARP (warp.dev) when working with code in this repository.

Commands

  • Install: npm install
  • Sync AI files: npm run ai:sync
  • Check sync status (CI): npm run ai:sync -- --check

Repo conventions

  • Branch naming: feature/, fix/, docs/
  • Commit message style: Conventional Commits

Architecture

This project maintains a single source of truth for AI tool instructions and syncs them to tool-specific files.

Source: .ai/INSTRUCTIONS.md

Sync script: scripts/ai-sync.mjs — ES module that:

  • Reads the canonical source file
  • Prepends a "GENERATED" comment header
  • Writes to each target file (creating directories if needed)
  • With --check flag: verifies files are in sync without writing (exits non-zero if out of date)

Generated targets: CLAUDE.md, GEMINI.md, AGENTS.md, .github/copilot-instructions.md

Critical workflow

  • Never edit generated files directly — changes will be overwritten
  • Edit only .ai/INSTRUCTIONS.md, then run npm run ai:sync
  • Before committing, ensure AI files are in sync (npm run ai:sync -- --check)
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
