social-skills: Instructions file for Claude Code

AGENTS.md

social-skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode from tbhb/social-skills. It costs 1,187 tokens per session, scanned A, original, CC0-1.0.

Repository instructions for a collection of satirical personality modules for AI coding agents. They describe the project layout, plugin metadata, and how its skills are organized.

In plain words
What is it for?
Understanding, editing, and packaging the social-skills repository and its plugin files.
Why use it?
They give contributors a shared map of the repository, reducing confusion about where plugins, skills, and metadata belong.

This is tbhb/social-skills's own configuration. It tells Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode how to work on social-skills itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything social-skills configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01187 $0.01187
Opus 5 $0.00593 $0.00593
Sonnet 5 $0.00237 $0.00237
Haiku 4.5 $0.00119 $0.00119

Measured 8d ago against content hash 22c151fa3bd7, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

social-skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Overview

This repository (tbhb/social-skills) is a collection of satirical personality-module "skills" for AI coding agents. Each skill teaches an agent a dysfunctional corporate behavior — passive-aggressive emails, weaponized empathy, process theater, etc. The project is comedic and deliberately absurd; the skills are meant to be funny, not genuinely useful.

Skills are organized into four plugins and distributed via the npx skills CLI. They are consumed by agent frameworks that support the SKILL.md format (YAML frontmatter + markdown instructions).

Plugin Anatomy

Each plugin lives in plugins/<plugin-name>/ and follows the Claude Code plugin convention:

plugin.json

{
  "name": "<plugin-name>",
  "version": "1.0.0",
  "description": "A short description of the plugin's theme.",
  "author": {
    "name": "Tony Burns",
    "url": "https://github.com/tbhb"
  }
}

Skill Files

Every skill lives in plugins/<plugin-name>/skills/<skill-name>/SKILL.md and follows this structure:

---
name: <skill-name>
description: >-
  A concise description of when and how the agent should activate this skill.
  Written as an instruction to the agent, not a summary for humans.
---

# The "<Display Name>" <Optional Subtitle>

One-line thematic summary.

## System Instruction

A single paragraph giving the agent its persona, behavioral rules,
and constraints. This is the core prompt injection.

## Example Interaction

A **User:** / **Agent:** exchange demonstrating the skill in action.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
