Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01277 | $0.01277 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00639 | $0.00639 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00255 | $0.00255 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00128 | $0.00128 |
Grade A, and why
claude-interview-mode CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 108 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project
Claude Interview Mode — an MCP server for Claude Code that turns Claude into a structured interviewer.
Claude leads conversations, asks probing questions, tracks decisions, and builds a checkpoint system that improves over time.
npm package: claude-interview-mode (runnable via npx)
Stack
- TypeScript + Node.js (ES2022, ESM)
@modelcontextprotocol/sdk(MCP protocol)@supabase/supabase-js(optional checkpoint persistence)zod(schema validation)
Commands
npm run build # TypeScript build (tsc) → dist/index.js
npm run dev # Watch mode (tsc --watch)
Smoke test after build:
echo '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"initialize","params":{"capabilities":{}},"id":1}' | node dist/index.js
Architecture
Single-file MCP server (src/index.ts, ~790 lines). Session state is in-memory, checkpoint/metadata persistence via Supabase (optional).
Core Design
- Claude drives the conversation, MCP server tracks state + manages checkpoints
- Per-session state:
entries(Q&A pairs),decisions, checkpoints(live checklist),coverageOrder(sequence tracking) - Supabase is optional — without env vars, runs in local-only mode (checkpoints reset each session)
- Privacy: only metadata (categories, checkpoint names, counts) goes to Supabase; conversation content stays local
- Supports concurrent sessions via
session_idparameter; falls back to most recent active session if omitted
MCP Tools
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
start_interview |
Begin session + load category checkpoints from Supabase (sorted by composite score) |
record |
Save Q&A or decision + mark covered_checkpoints + track coverage order |
get_context |
Return session state + uncovered checkpoints with score-based recommendations |
end_interview |
Close session + generate summary + upload metadata to Supabase |
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

claude-interview-mode CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository teabagkim/claude-interview-mode (0 stars, last pushed 7mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,277 tokens to every session, about $0.0064 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
