Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.05240 | $0.05240 |
| Opus 5 | $0.02620 | $0.02620 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.01048 | $0.01048 |

Grade A, and why
the-agency-starter CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

The Agency
A multi-agent development framework for Claude Code.
What is The Agency?
The Agency is a convention-over-configuration system for running multiple Claude Code agents that collaborate on a shared codebase. It provides:
- Workstreams - Organized areas of work (features, infrastructure, etc.)
- Agents - Specialized Claude Code instances with context and memory
- Principals - Human stakeholders who direct work via instructions
- Collaboration - Inter-agent communication and handoffs
- Quality Gates - Enforced standards via pre-commit hooks
Core Concepts
Agents
Each agent has:
agent.md- Identity, purpose, and capabilitiesKNOWLEDGE.md- Accumulated wisdom and patternsWORKLOG.md- Sprint-based work trackingADHOC-WORKLOG.md- Out-of-plan work tracking
Workstreams
Workstreams organize related work:
- Shared
KNOWLEDGE.mdacross agents in the workstream - Sprint directories for planned work
- Multiple agents can work on the same workstream
Principals
Human stakeholders who provide direction:
- Requests (
REQUEST-principal-XXXX) - Directed tasks - Artifacts - Deliverables produced for principals
- Preferences - How they like to work
Collaboration
Agents communicate via:
./tools/collaborate- Request help from another agent./tools/news-post/./tools/news-read- Broadcast updates./tools/nit-add- Flag issues for later

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

the-agency-starter CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository the-agency-ai/the-agency-starter (20 stars, last pushed 7mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 5,240 tokens to every session, about $0.0262 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls).
