themeseed: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

themeseed CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from ThemeAnax/themeseed. It costs 2,484 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for working on a TypeScript project, including its commands, formatting rules, unit tests, and end-to-end tests. End-to-end tests check a complete workflow against a disposable Ghost blog rather than testing one function in isolation.

In plain words
What is it for?
They help run type checking, linting, formatting, unit tests, builds, and Ghost-based end-to-end tests before committing changes.
Why use it?
They give a coding agent the project's required checks and test commands, including how integration tests are enabled and how missing test credentials should be handled. This reduces accidental commits that fail verification or damage test data.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.02484 $0.02484
Opus 5 $0.01242 $0.01242
Sonnet 5 $0.00497 $0.00497
Haiku 4.5 $0.00248 $0.00248

Security

Grade A, and why

themeseed CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Commands

npm run verify # typecheck + lint + unit tests — must pass before any commit
npm test # unit tests only (vitest, `unit` project)
npm run test:watch
npm run build # tsc -p tsconfig.build.json, then chmod the bin shims
npm run format # prettier --write . (run before committing)

Single test file / single test:

npx vitest run --project unit test/unit/lexical.test.ts
npx vitest run --project unit -t 'uses "alt" rather than "altText"'

Integration, both needing a disposable Ghost instance (they create and delete posts):

npm run test:e2e # test/e2e/ghost.e2e.test.ts
npm run test:loop # seed → verify → wipe, until 3 consecutive clean runs; appends to test-loop.log

E2E is gated on GHOST_TEST_BLOG_ENDPOINT and GHOST_TEST_BLOG_KEY in the repo's .env (cp .env.example .env). Without them the suite skips cleanly rather than failing — preserve that property in any new e2e test. The Ghost key is the Admin API key in <id>:<hex secret> form (Ghost Admin → Settings → Integrations → Add custom integration); the Content API key will not work. GHOST_THEMES_DIR is optional but makes theme analysis far more accurate.

scripts/probe-*.ts are manual diagnostics, deliberately not part of the test suite — reach for them when something behaves surprisingly and you want evidence:

npx tsx scripts/probe-theme.ts --themes-dir /path/to/content/themes
npx tsx scripts/probe-ai-adapters.ts --ratio 1.5 # costs money: one generated image per configured adapter
npx tsx scripts/probe-images.ts
npx tsx scripts/probe-video.ts "deep work"
npm run build && npx tsx scripts/probe-mcp.ts # needs a build first

scripts/seed-architecture.ts is a worked ContentEngine example, not a probe.

Architecture

The whole design exists to keep CMS-specific knowledge inside one directory. Three layers:

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
