datagsm-server: Instructions file for GitHub Copilot

.github/copilot-instructions.md

datagsm-server copilot-instructions.md is an instructions file for GitHub Copilot from themoment-team/datagsm-server. It costs 1,212 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A project instruction file for a multi-module Kotlin and Spring Boot school-information API. It tells a coding agent how the project is organised, which tools it uses, and to respond in Korean.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps with API development, authentication, database work, testing, and navigating the separate project modules.
Why use it?
It gives the agent project-specific context instead of making it infer the structure and conventions. This helps keep code suggestions, reviews, and commands consistent with the repository.

Instructions file for GitHub Copilot

Written for GitHub Copilot: a Copilot instructions file.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01212 $0.01212
Opus 5.5 $0.00485 $0.00485
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00242 $0.00242
Haiku 4.5 $0.00121 $0.00121

Measured 29d ago against content hash 5deb4d270c57, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

datagsm-server copilot-instructions.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 29d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

DataGSM Copilot Instructions

Please provide all code suggestions, reviews, and responses in Korean (한국어).

Project Overview

DataGSM is a Spring Boot REST API service providing school information (students, clubs, meals, schedules) for Gwangju Software Meister High School. Uses Google OAuth2 authentication with JWT token and API key management.

Tech Stack

  • Kotlin with Spring Boot 4.0, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA
  • MySQL (main data), Redis (caching, sessions)
  • QueryDSL for complex queries, OpenFeign for external APIs
  • Jackson 3.0 for JSON processing
  • Kotest + MockK + JUnit 5 for testing (Given-When-Then style)

Project Structure (Multi-module)

  • datagsm-common/: Shared library (Entity, DTO, Repository, Config, Health API)
  • datagsm-oauth-authorization/: OAuth2 authentication, account lifecycle (signup, password reset)
  • datagsm-oauth-userinfo/: OAuth2 UserInfo endpoint (external clients)
  • datagsm-openapi/: Public API — read and write (students, clubs, projects, NEIS)
  • datagsm-web/: Web service API (user features, admin features, Excel)
  • datagsm-shared/: Kotlin Multiplatform module — published type definitions (Maven + npm)
  • datagsm-ksp-processor/: KSP processor — generates KMP/TypeScript types from @KmpExport
  • Each service module: controller/, service/, repository/, entity/, dto/

Commands

  • Build: ./gradlew build
  • Test: ./gradlew test
  • Format: ./gradlew ktlintFormat
  • Run: ./gradlew :datagsm-{module}:bootRun

Coding Conventions

  • Use Kotlin idioms: val over var, null safety, extension functions
  • Naming: PascalCase (classes), camelCase (functions/variables), Request/Response DTO suffix (e.g., UserReqDto, UserResDto)
  • Follow KtLint rules
  • Architecture: Controller → Service (interface + impl) → Repository pattern
  • Always use constructor injection for dependencies
  • Separate Entity and DTO clearly
  • Do NOT add excessive comments - only where logic is not self-evident
  • Write services in student/club/project domains must publish EventDispatchRequested (enforced by EventDispatchConventionTest)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
