Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00957 | $0.00957 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00478 | $0.00478 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00191 | $0.00191 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00096 | $0.00096 |
Grade A, and why
Glyphs-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 69 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
CLAUDE.md
This guide briefs Claude Code on how to work with the Glyphs MCP repository.
Project Overview
- Glyphs MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server bundled as a Glyphs 3 plugin.
- It exposes GlyphsApp APIs as JSON-RPC tools over the MCP Streamable HTTP transport.
- Python sources live in
src/glyphs-mcp/; dependencies install into the user Scriptssite-packagesdirectory (not vendored into the plugin).
Capabilities Exposed to Agents
The shipped tool set focuses on glyph inspection, editing, and project metadata:
list_open_fonts,get_font_masters,get_font_instancesfor font-level information.get_glyph_details,get_glyph_paths,get_glyph_components,get_selected_glyphsfor glyph structure.create_glyph,delete_glyph,copy_glyph,add_component_to_glyph,add_anchor_to_glyphfor building glyphs.update_glyph_metrics,update_glyph_properties,set_kerning_pair,save_fontfor metrics and persistence.execute_code,execute_code_with_context,get_selected_font_and_masterfor scripted automation inside Glyphs.docs_search,docs_getfor on-demand access to bundled SDK/ObjectWrapper docs.
Refer to README.md for the complete table of supported tools and descriptions.

Build & Run Workflow
- Install dependencies using one option:
src/glyphs-mcp/scripts/install_deps_glyphs_python.sh(uses Glyphs’ Python → installs into~/Library/Application Support/Glyphs 3/Scripts/site-packages), orsrc/glyphs-mcp/scripts/install_deps_external_python.sh(uses external Python → installs into that Python’s user site-packages)
- Copy or symlink
src/glyphs-mcp/Glyphs MCP.glyphsPlugininto~/Library/Application Support/Glyphs 3/Plugins/. - Restart Glyphs, then choose Edit → Start MCP Server. The server listens on
http://127.0.0.1:9680/mcp/using Streamable HTTP.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

Glyphs-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository thierryc/Glyphs-mcp (44 stars, last pushed 23d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 957 tokens to every session, about $0.0048 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
