AGENTS.md

catalyst-sdwan-super-mcp AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from thomaschristory/catalyst-sdwan-super-mcp. It costs 272 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Repository instructions for agents working on a software project. They summarize the project structure, commands, configuration, testing, documentation, and read-only defaults.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to understand where source, tests, documentation, and specifications live, and how to test, lint, build, or enable write operations.
Why use it?
They give a coding agent the project-specific rules it needs before changing code or running checks.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00272 $0.00272
Opus 5 $0.00136 $0.00136
Sonnet 5 $0.00054 $0.00054
Haiku 4.5 $0.00027 $0.00027

Measured 7d ago against content hash 7411ca490a72, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

catalyst-sdwan-super-mcp AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AGENTS.md

This repo follows the same conventions as CLAUDE.md. The two files are kept in sync; agents that don't read CLAUDE.md should read this one.

See CLAUDE.md for the full project documentation: stack, architecture, auth, project layout, data flow, CLI, Docker, and key decisions.

Quick reference for agents

  • Source lives in sdwan_mcp/. Tests in tests/. Docs in docs/.
  • uv sync --group dev --group docs to install everything.
  • uv run pytest -v runs the suite. uv run ruff check sdwan_mcp tests lints.
  • CI enforces lint + tests + docker build + zensical build --strict (docs).
  • Default behavior is read-only. The --read-write flag is the only way to register mutating operations.
  • Specs go in specs/{version}/ and may be .yaml, .yml, or .json. Filenames inside a version folder are arbitrary; they're merged in name order.
  • New vManage version = drop a new folder + change sdwan.active_version in sdwan-mcp.yaml. No code changes.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
