CLAUDE.md

mcp-jira CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from tjun1/mcp-jira. It costs 427 tokens per session, scanned A, a copy of picadillo AGENTS.md, MIT.

Project-specific coding instructions for the mcp-jira repository. They define how to use Bun, a JavaScript runtime and toolkit, for running code, installing packages, building files, and testing.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when developing, testing, building, installing, or committing changes in the mcp-jira project.
Why use it?
They keep contributors using the repository's expected commands and conventions instead of mixing tools. They also document required branch names and Japanese commit messages tied to GitHub Issues.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00427 $0.00427
Opus 5 $0.00214 $0.00214
Sonnet 5 $0.00085 $0.00085
Haiku 4.5 $0.00043 $0.00043

Measured 5d ago against content hash 491b17652245, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

mcp-jira CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Origin

This is a copy

86% identical to picadillo AGENTS.md — 32 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.

What it actually says

mcp-jira プロジェクト設定

基本方針

Default to using Bun instead of Node.js.

  • Use bun <file> instead of node <file> or ts-node <file>
  • Use bun test instead of jest or vitest
  • Use bun build <file.html|file.ts|file.css> instead of webpack or esbuild
  • Use bun install instead of npm install or yarn install or pnpm install
  • Use bun run <script> instead of npm run <script> or yarn run <script> or pnpm run <script>
  • Use bunx <package> <command> instead of npx <package> <command>
  • Bun automatically loads .env, so don't use dotenv.

APIs

  • Prefer Bun.file over node:fs's readFile/writeFile
  • WebSocket is built-in. Don't use ws.

Testing

Use bun test to run tests.

import { test, expect } from "bun:test";

test("hello world", () => {
  expect(1).toBe(1);
});

ビルド・インストール

ローカル実行:

bun run src/index.ts

ビルド・インストール:

./install.sh
# → ~/.local/bin/mcp-jira にバイナリを配置

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
