Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01517 | $0.01517 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00758 | $0.00758 |

Grade A, and why
better-agent-terminal CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 87 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
CLAUDE.md - Project Guidelines
No Regressions Policy
- NEVER break existing features when implementing new ones.
- Before committing, verify ALL existing features still work — not just the new changes.
- Run the build (
pnpm run compile) to confirm compilation succeeds. - When modifying shared code (stores, IPC handlers, types), trace all consumers to ensure nothing breaks.
Package Management
- This repository uses pnpm. Do not use
npm install, npm ci, ornpxfor project workflows. - The pinned package manager is declared in
package.json(packageManager:[email protected]). - Use
pnpm install --frozen-lockfilefor reproducible installs. - Use
pnpm exec <tool>instead ofnpx <tool>. - Keep
pnpm-lock.yamlcommitted and do not reintroducepackage-lock.json. - pnpm v10 blocks dependency lifecycle scripts unless explicitly allowed; required build-script packages are listed under
pnpm.onlyBuiltDependenciesinpackage.json. - Standard verification commands:
pnpm exec tsc --noEmit --pretty falsepnpm run compilepnpm run test:sidecarpnpm run check:tauri-rustpnpm run test:tauri-rust- For local packaging verification without macOS signing/notarization:
pnpm run tauri:build:debug
Logging
- Frontend (renderer): Use
window.batAppAPI.debug.log(...)instead ofconsole.log(). This sends logs to the Tauri host logger, which writes to disk. - Backend (Tauri/Rust): Use the project Rust logging/debug helpers so logs are persisted.
- Do NOT use
console.log()for debugging — use the logger so logs are persisted and visible in the log file. - Log file location:
- Tauri writes renderer/Rust logs to
<app-data>/logs/debug.logand sidecar logs to<app-data>/logs/sidecar.log. - macOS fresh Tauri install:
~/Library/Application Support/com.tonyq.better-agent-terminal/logs/debug.log - macOS existing Electron migration:
~/Library/Application Support/BetterAgentTerminal/logs/debug.log - Windows fresh Tauri install:
%APPDATA%\com.tonyq.better-agent-terminal\logs\debug.log - Linux fresh Tauri install:
~/.local/share/com.tonyq.better-agent-terminal/logs/debug.logor the platform-resolved Tauri app data dir. BAT_TAURI_DATA_DIRoverrides the app data directory in dev/tests.- In the app, Settings → Open Logs Folder opens the active logs directory.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

better-agent-terminal CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository tony1223/better-agent-terminal (498 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT.
