In plain words
What is it for?

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.03156 $0.03156
Opus 5 $0.01578 $0.01578
Sonnet 5 $0.00631 $0.00631
Haiku 4.5 $0.00316 $0.00316

Measured 6d ago against content hash b20beadadeff, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

aifolimizer CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

aifolimizer - Project Context

Session Startup (read every new session)

  1. Read .claude/context/changes.md - what built, when
  2. Read .claude/context/architecture.md - data flow, API contracts, file index
  3. Read .claude/context/lessons.md - past corrections, do-not-repeat rules
  4. Call mcp__aifolimizer__get_profile before analysis - never hardcode account types or capital

What This Is

AI investment advisor for Canadian Wealthsimple retail investors (growth+income+crypto profile). Live portfolio via local backend. AI analysis in Claude Code/Desktop Pro - no Anthropic API key.

Architecture

Claude Code / Claude Desktop (Pro subscription - no API key)
        ↓ invokes
   .claude/skills/* (28 institutional analysis skills)
        ↓ calls MCP tool
   backend/mcp_server.py (FastMCP, 107 tools)
        ↓ uses
   app/services/{wealthsimple, market_data, fundamentals, technicals, news, macro, quant, portfolio_analytics, health_score, crypto_data}
        ↓ HTTP
Wealthsimple + yfinance + FRED + CoinGecko (all free, no keys required)

No frontend - analysis runs in Claude Code / Claude Desktop. FastAPI is exposed for ad-hoc REST testing only.

How to Start

Fresh clone: ./setup.sh (POSIX/Git-Bash) or powershell -File setup.ps1 (Windows) - venv, deps, backend/.env, .mcp.json, MCP registration, doctor. Idempotent. Then python backend/scripts/health_check.py to diagnose.

# Backend (FastAPI + shared session store)
cd backend && .venv/Scripts/activate && uvicorn main:app --reload --port 8000

MCP server (mcp_server.py) runs as separate process managed by Claude Code - register once with:

claude mcp add aifolimizer "<venv_python_path>" "backend/mcp_server.py"

Quality gates (run before claiming "done"):

pytest # testpaths=backend/tests (run from repo root)
ruff check . ; pyright # lint + type-check

MCP Tools (107 total - table below is a curated subset; see mcp_server.py for full list)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
