ulanzi-studio-plugin-skill: Instructions file for GitHub Copilot

.github/copilot-instructions.md

ulanzi-studio-plugin-skill copilot-instructions.md is an instructions file for GitHub Copilot from ukinora/ulanzi-studio-plugin-skill. It costs 4,619 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for developing Ulanzi Studio plugins for Ulanzi stream controllers. They describe plugin structure, runtime choices, files, and the SDK.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to create or modify a Ulanzi plugin, choose between HTML and Node.js modes, structure actions and settings screens, and follow the manifest format.
Why use it?
They reduce guesswork about where plugin code belongs and how an app should be organized for the supported controller devices.

Instructions file for GitHub Copilot

Written for GitHub Copilot: a Copilot instructions file.

This is ukinora/ulanzi-studio-plugin-skill's own configuration. It tells GitHub Copilot how to work on ulanzi-studio-plugin-skill itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything ulanzi-studio-plugin-skill configures →

Needs its repository: it reads a path above its own folder, which exists only inside the repository. The line is <link rel="stylesheet" href="../../libs/css/udpi.css">.

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Security

Grade A, and why

ulanzi-studio-plugin-skill copilot-instructions.md scanned grade A with 2 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Ulanzi Studio Plugin Development

Build plugins for Ulanzi D200H / D200 / D200X stream controllers using the Ulanzi Studio SDK.

TRIGGER when: user asks to create a Ulanzi Studio plugin/app, build a stream deck action, or modify an existing Ulanzi plugin.

Plugin Architecture

Two runtime modes (choose one per plugin):

Mode Entry Point Use Case
HTML plugin/app.html Canvas drawing, UI-driven, simpler setup
Node.js plugin/app.js System access, file I/O, complex logic

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
