yorishiro-proxy: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

yorishiro-proxy CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from usk6666/yorishiro-proxy. It costs 6,996 tokens per session, scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

Instructions for a network proxy that lets an AI agent intercept, record, inspect, modify, and replay network traffic. It supports both structured protocol data, such as URLs and headers, and the original raw bytes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to build or test traffic interception, protocol analysis, request recording, replay, anomaly reproduction, and support for application- and transport-level protocols.
Why use it?
Network problems and security issues are difficult to reproduce when only high-level requests are visible. Keeping both the interpreted request and the original bytes makes diagnosis and vulnerability testing more reliable.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.06996 $0.06996
Opus 5 $0.03498 $0.03498
Sonnet 5 $0.01399 $0.01399
Haiku 4.5 $0.00700 $0.00700

Security

Grade A, and why

yorishiro-proxy CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

yorishiro-proxy

A network proxy tool for AI agents — a MITM proxy for AI. Operates as an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, providing traffic interception, recording, and replay capabilities for vulnerability assessment.

Status: OSS (Apache License 2.0) · Under active development

Architecture

Design: RFC-001 Envelope + Layered Connection Model. Implementation strategy: docs/rfc/envelope-implementation.md.

Principle: L7-first, L4-capable

  1. The default operation interface is a structured L7 view — Prioritize AI agent token efficiency by representing communication as structured data: method, URL, headers, body, etc.
  2. Raw bytes recording, viewing, and modification must be possible for all protocols — As a diagnostic tool, protocol-level anomaly detection and reproduction must be supported (pure transport-layer protocols like SOCKS5 apply to the tunneled protocol)
  3. L7 parsing is an overlay on top of raw bytes; the wire-observed raw bytes snapshot itself must not be destroyed or modified — Recorded raw bytes always reflect the original wire data; modifications must always be treated as separate derived data (e.g., modified variant)

Pipeline

TCP Listener (Layer 4)
→ Protocol Detection (peek bytes / ALPN)
    → Connection Stack (TCP → TLS → HTTP/1 | HTTP/2 → WS | gRPC | gRPC-Web | SSE | Raw)
      → Pipeline Steps
          (HostScope → HTTPScope → Safety → PluginPre → Intercept → Transform → PluginPost → Record [→ UpgradeStep])
        → Flow Recording (L7 Message + L4 Envelope.Raw)
→ MCP Tool (Intercept / Replay / Search / Plugin Introspect)

Each connection is an explicit stack of Layers (RFC-001 §3.3); each Layer yields one or more Channels; the Pipeline runs on Envelopes drawn from those Channels. The data model is:

  • Envelope — protocol-agnostic outer container with identity (StreamID/FlowID/Sequence/Direction), provenance (Protocol), wire fidelity (Raw bytes), and a typed Message.
  • Message — protocol-specific payload (HTTPMessage, WSMessage, GRPCStartMessage/GRPCDataMessage/GRPCEndMessage, SSEMessage, RawMessage, TLSHandshakeMessage).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
