lc-editor: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

lc-editor AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from uzairayed/lc-editor. It costs 191 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of project instructions for the lc-editor video-editing skill. It explains which guides and scene references to use for different editing situations, including a specific Karachi preset.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps an agent choose the right scene cards, layouts, and subject references when building a video timeline. It is used when working with keyframes, clip duration, clip roles, or specific multi-shot arrangements.
Why use it?
It keeps editing decisions consistent with the project's written rules and reference material. It also limits the Karachi-specific instructions to projects that use that preset.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00191 $0.00191
Opus 5.5 $0.00076 $0.00076
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00038 $0.00038
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00019

Security

Grade A, and why

lc-editor AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Agent

Engine craft lives in specs/craft.md. Karachi episode shape lives in instructions.md and applies only with preset="karachi". Process / detailing cards use preset="process" (see SPEC-EDIT-26 / SPEC-CRAFT-07).

Scene library: when you look at keyframes or set a clip's duration or role, follow context/HOW.md. Match subjects in context/INDEX.md and read only the matching cards.

Two shots in one frame: layout_add (specs/layouts.md). Occasional pair → context/scenes/pair.md. Collage / mostly stacks / caption-must → context/scenes/collage.md. Two highway or helmet POVs → context/scenes/ride-pair.md.

Style playbooks (creator compile styles like Ammo NYC): playbooks/HOW.md + playbooks/INDEX.md.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
