Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01920 | $0.01920 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00960 | $0.00960 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00384 | $0.00384 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00192 | $0.00192 |
Grade A, and why
speckit-product-forge CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 153 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

What this repo is
Product Forge is a full product-lifecycle orchestrator that ships from one repo in two installable forms (workflows identical):
| Form | Manifest | Install | Command syntax |
|---|---|---|---|
| SpecKit extension | extension.yml |
specify extension add product-forge --from <zip> |
/speckit.product-forge.<name> |
| Claude Code / Claude plugin | .claude-plugin/plugin.json + marketplace.json |
/plugin install speckit-product-forge@vaiyav-plugins |
/speckit-product-forge:<name> |
This is a content/spec repository, not an application. There is no app to build or run. The deliverable is:
- 31 command files in
commands/(markdown prompt-skills, one per slash command), - normative docs in
docs/, - 4 zero-dependency Node helper scripts in
scripts/.
Both distribution forms reuse the same commands/, docs/, and scripts/ —
plugin support was added by adding manifests only, nothing was rewritten.
The repo IS the tool. features/, specs/, and .product-forge/config.yml
are runtime artifacts the workflows create inside a consuming project — they
do not (and should not) exist here. Do not scaffold them in this repo.
Layout
commands/ 31 slash-command definitions (markdown + YAML frontmatter)
docs/ normative specs + templates (see hierarchy below)
schema/ canonical .forge-status.yml v3 schema + migration notes
templates/ gate-review, journey-spec, traceability-matrix, domains.yml, …
improvements/ dated design/audit notes
scripts/ zero-dependency Node helpers (CommonJS, Node ≥ 22)
extension.yml SpecKit extension manifest (declares all commands)
.claude-plugin/ plugin.json + marketplace.json (Claude plugin manifests)
config-template.yml shipped config defaults + authoritative config reference
CHANGELOG.md Keep-a-Changelog; current: v1.6.0 "Bulbasaur"
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

speckit-product-forge CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository VaiYav/speckit-product-forge (23 stars, last pushed 16d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,920 tokens to every session, about $0.0096 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
