Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

Grade A, and why
chorus copilot-instructions.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Chorus — Copilot Instructions
Chorus is a cross-agent plugin collection that lets AI coding CLIs delegate tasks to each other. It exposes capabilities on four installation surfaces: Claude Code (slash-command plugins), OpenCode (MCP npm package), Gemini CLI (SKILL.md skills), and Codex (SKILL.md skills).
Architecture
plugins/*/commands/*.md— Claude Code slash command definitions. Frontmatter must includedescription,argument-hint,disable-model-invocation: true, andallowed-tools.plugins/*/scripts/companion.mjs— Node.js ESM scripts that spawn external CLI processes. Usespawnwithstdio: 'pipe'when output must be captured; usestdio: 'inherit'for pass-through. UsespawnSynconly for version checks.for-opencode/src/index.js— MCP stdio server using@modelcontextprotocol/sdk. Tools are defined in aTOOLSarray; thetools/callhandler switches onrequest.params.name.for-gemini/*/SKILL.mdandfor-codex/*/SKILL.md— natural-language skill files. Gemini frontmatter requiresname, description, license, metadata. Codex frontmatter requires onlynameanddescription.
Code style
- ESM throughout (
import/export). No CommonJSrequire. - No TypeScript — plain
.mjsand.jsfiles. - No build step. Files run directly with Node.js >= 18.18.0.
- Prefer
Promise.allfor parallel agent spawns. Never await sequentially when tasks are independent. - Error handling: companion scripts resolve (not reject) on agent failure, returning
{ code, output, error }so one failed agent doesn't abort the others.
Known limitations to consider in review
- OpenCode (
opencode run) is a TUI — its stdout is not capturable. Do not add OpenCode as a parallel delegate in orchestration workflows. - Codex runs in a bubblewrap sandbox limited to its working directory. Parallel review and debug skills note this restriction; new Codex-facing skills must repeat the warning.
claude --printis the correct non-interactive invocation for Claude Code. Do not suggestclaude runor bareclaude.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

chorus copilot-instructions.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository valpere/chorus (10 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 546 tokens to every session, about $0.0027 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (runs shell commands). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
