Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02700 | $0.02700 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01350 | $0.01350 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00540 | $0.00540 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00270 | $0.00270 |
Grade A, and why
agent-ready CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 138 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Critical Commands
Use only these commands. Never invent alternatives or substitute similar-looking tools.
# Install (end-user, with LLM support)
pip install "git+https://github.com/vb-nattamai/agent-ready.git[ai]"
# Build (development, editable install with dev extras)
pip install -e '.[dev]'
# Test (must pass with ≥50% coverage — do not relax the threshold)
pytest -q --cov=src/agent_ready --cov-report=term-missing --cov-fail-under=50
# Run (transform a target repository)
agent-ready --target /path/to/repo
# Lint check
ruff check src/agent_ready tests
# Format check (do not auto-apply in CI)
ruff format --check src/agent_ready tests
# Dry-run (preview generated files without writing)
agent-ready --target /path/to/repo --dry-run
# Evaluate existing context files without regenerating
agent-ready --target /path/to/repo --eval-only
Always Do
-
Set
PYTHONPATHwhen running tests locally if imports fail:PYTHONPATH=src pytest -q .... The package lives undersrc/agent_ready/and uses thesrclayout declared inpyproject.toml. -
Keep
src/agent_ready/__init__.pyand theVERSIONfile in sync. The__version__string in__init__.pyis the authoritative source read by setuptools dynamic versioning;VERSIONmust match. The release workflow manages this automatically — if you touch either file manually, update both. -
Add tests under
tests/for any new code insrc/agent_ready/. The CI gate is--cov-fail-under=50; new untested code will fail the pipeline. Mirror the module path: code insrc/agent_ready/evaluator.py→ tests intests/test_evaluator.py. -
Mock LLM calls at the retry-wrapper level in tests, not at the raw
litellm.completionlevel. Becauseanalyser.py,generator.py, andevaluator.pyall wrap LLM calls with exponential-backoff retry logic for 429/529/overloaded errors, mocking onlylitellm.completionmay not intercept at the right point. Verify your mock actually short-circuits the retry loop.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

agent-ready CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository vb-nattamai/agent-ready (5 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 2,700 tokens to every session, about $0.0135 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings.
