llm-wiki-compiler: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

llm-wiki-compiler AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from vbarsoum1/llm-wiki-compiler. It costs 371 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Instructions for Klore, a command-line tool that compiles documents and web sources into a knowledge-base wiki. It lists commands for adding sources, compiling or watching for changes, asking questions, saving reports, and checking for problems such as broken links.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when building or maintaining a Klore knowledge base, importing files or URLs, automatically recompiling changed sources, querying the wiki, saving answers, or running health checks.
Why use it?
It gives developers a clear workflow for keeping the wiki current and checking whether its sources and generated content are healthy. It also states the required Python version, installation method, and API key.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00371 $0.00371
Opus 5 $0.00186 $0.00186
Sonnet 5 $0.00074 $0.00074
Haiku 4.5 $0.00037 $0.00037

Security

Grade A, and why

llm-wiki-compiler AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Klore — LLM Knowledge Compiler

You have access to the klore CLI for building and maintaining knowledge bases.

Available Commands

Command What it does
klore init [name] Create a new knowledge base
klore add <file|url> Add a source (PDF, markdown, HTML, image, URL)
klore ingest <file|url> Add a source and compile in one step
klore compile Compile sources into the wiki (incremental)
klore compile --full Force full recompilation
klore ask "question" Ask a question against the wiki
klore ask --save "question" Ask and save the answer as a wiki report
klore watch Watch raw/ for changes and auto-compile
klore lint Run health checks (contradictions, broken links)
klore status Show source/concept counts, compilation state

When to use

  • If the user asks to "build a wiki", "compile knowledge", or "ingest" a source, use the klore commands above.
  • If the current directory has a .klore/ folder, this is a klore knowledge base. Check wiki/index.md for context.
  • If wiki/index.md exists, read it to understand what knowledge is available before answering domain questions.

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+
  • klore installed: pipx install klore or pip install klore
  • OPENROUTER_API_KEY environment variable set (get one at https://openrouter.ai/keys)
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
