business-ontology: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

business-ontology AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from Vladick-Pick/business-ontology. It costs 1,288 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A resident analyst agent package that maintains a source-backed model of how a business works. It includes routing, skills, data schemas, workspace templates, validation tools, and a runtime.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps analyse business sources, maintain an ontology—a structured model of business entities and relationships—and work with the package’s adapters, schemas, validators, and runtime.
Why use it?
It gives an agent a defined way to collect and maintain business facts while keeping package structure, source boundaries, and language rules consistent.

This is Vladick-Pick/business-ontology's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on business-ontology itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything business-ontology configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01288 $0.01288
Opus 5 $0.00644 $0.00644
Sonnet 5 $0.00258 $0.00258
Haiku 4.5 $0.00129 $0.00129

Security

Grade A, and why

business-ontology AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Repository instructions

This repository is the Business Ontology Resident agent package. It contains the package router, host adapters, resident analyst skills, model contracts, workspace templates, deterministic validators, reference runtime, and release process for an agent that maintains a source-backed model of business reality.

All repository content is in English, with one scoped exception: plans/ holds implementation-history artifacts written in the repository owner's working language (Russian) for the owner's executor agents; they are not part of the installable package.

First read

Before product, architecture, documentation, or agent-workflow work, read:

  1. BOOTSTRAP.md
  2. agent-package.yaml
  3. README.md
  4. specs/BUSINESS-ONTOLOGY-RESIDENT.md
  5. agent-os/README.md
  6. the affected adapter, skill, schema, runtime, or deployment file

For ontology-session behavior, read:

skills/business-ontology/SKILL.md

The root SKILL.md is only the package router.

Layout contract

  • Root files are package, bootstrap, and repository rules: BOOTSTRAP.md, agent-package.yaml, README.md, AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, SKILL.md.
  • Resident analyst skills live under skills/.
  • Host-specific setup lives under adapters/.
  • Workspace templates live under templates/workspace/.
  • Model repository templates live under templates/model-repo/.
  • Normative product and runtime contracts live under specs/.
  • Resident operating-system docs live under agent-os/.
  • JSON contracts live under schemas/.
  • Deterministic tooling lives under scripts/.
  • Local executable reference modules live under runtime/.
  • plans/ is implementation history. Do not publish it as product promise.

Do not recreate agent-skills/, bootstrap/openclaw/, or templates/openclaw-workspace/. Those paths were retired in favor of the final package layout above.

Product stance

The product is a resident business analyst loop:

sources -> source events -> model-change packages -> human review
        -> accepted model -> agent-readable context

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
