ag-kit CLAUDE.md

ag-kit CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for coding agents from vudovn/ag-kit. It costs 1,069 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository guidance for Claude Code, an AI coding assistant, plus the files that define the AG Kit toolkit and its command-line installer.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when working on AG Kit itself, its Node.js installer, its Next.js documentation site, or its validation and runtime tooling.
Why use it?
It gives the assistant project-specific instructions and describes how the toolkit, installer, documentation site, and runtime files fit together.

About the project

AG Kit is a toolkit that gives Google Antigravity coding agents a structured workspace with rules, skills, specialist agents, workflows, persistent memory, orchestration, MCP guidance, and a safety hook. It is for building and operating agent workflows in Antigravity, and its catalogue entries provide parts of that workspace contract.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.01069 $0.01069
Opus 5 $0.00535 $0.00535
Sonnet 5 $0.00214 $0.00214
Haiku 4.5 $0.00107 $0.00107

Measured 4d ago against content hash 0f35f4b806f1, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ag-kit CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What this is

AG Kit is an Antigravity-first AI agent engineering kit. The product is the .agents/ workspace contract itself (rules, skills, agents, workflows, memory, hooks) — Markdown + JSON consumed by the Google Antigravity runtime, not compiled code. Three deliverables live in one repo:

  • .agents/ — the toolkit: 20 specialist agents (agent/), ~50 skills (skills/), 13 slash-command workflows (workflows/), 6 rules (rules/), persistent memory templates (memory/), plus the Antigravity runtime layer (antigravity.json contract, hooks.json PreToolUse safety gate, hooks/*.mjs tooling, JSON schemas).
  • cli/ — published npm package @vudovn/ag-kit (Node ≥18, ESM). Installs the kit into user projects via giget. Entry: cli/bin/index.js, managed-tree logic in cli/lib/managed-tree.js.
  • web/ — docs site (Next.js 16 + MDX + Tailwind 4, React 19). Content data lives in JSON catalogs under web/src.

Python ≥3.10 (with PyYAML) runs the toolkit validators; Node ≥22 runs the Antigravity tooling.

Commands

All from repo root unless noted.

# Toolkit (.agents/) — run after ANY change to managed components
npm run generate:agents # regenerate manifest.json, manifest.lock.json, DEPENDENCY_GRAPH.md
npm run check:agents # manifest --check + graph --check + validate_kit.py (what CI runs)
npm run test:toolkit # python -m unittest discover -s .agents/scripts/tests -v

# Antigravity runtime layer
npm run check:antigravity # doctor: validates contract, hooks, schemas
npm run test:antigravity # node --test .agents/hooks/tests/antigravity.test.mjs
npm run build:antigravity-plugin

# CLI
npm run test:cli # or: cd cli && node --test test/*.test.js
node --test cli/test/managed-tree.test.js # single test file

# Web (deps installed per-package: npm ci in cli/ and web/)
npm run lint:web
npm run typecheck:web
npm run build:web # next build --webpack (not turbopack)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
