Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00649 | $0.00649 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00324 | $0.00324 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00130 | $0.00130 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00065 | $0.00065 |
Grade A, and why
vault-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 40 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
vault-mcp
Authenticated remote MCP server (Cloudflare Workers) that exposes a private, GitHub-hosted
Obsidian vault to claude.ai and Claude Code. Reads (list/read/search) plus two note mutations:
write_note (create/overwrite) and delete_note — no rename/move. The target repo and
access policy are configured through secrets; path-scope overrides default in src/config.ts,
so wrangler.jsonc ships generic (no vars).
Invariants — keep these intact when changing code
- Notes-only, no rename/move. The mutations are
write_note(create/overwrite a markdown note) anddelete_note(remove one). Never add a rename/move tool — the GitHub API has no atomic move and it would silently break Obsidian wikilinks. Never let a mutation touch non-note files —writeNoteanddeleteNoteinvault.tsmust keep enforcing the.md/.markdownextension check. - Writes and deletes obey the same path policy as reads.
write_noteanddelete_notemust run every guardread_notedoes —../absolute rejection andVAULT_ALLOWED_PREFIXES/VAULT_DENIED_PREFIXES— so a mutation can never reach.git/,.obsidian/, or agent dirs. Preserve this when touching write/delete logic. - The login allowlist gates the whole toolset. A GitHub login absent from
VAULT_ALLOWED_GITHUB_LOGINSmust get zero tools, not a reduced set — seeinitinindex.ts. VAULT_GITHUB_TOKENstays single-repo scoped. It needs Contents: Read and Write (Write covers bothwrite_noteanddelete_note), but only on the vault repo. Never widen it beyond that one repo or swap in a broader token.- Path safety.
vault.tsenforcesVAULT_ALLOWED_PREFIXES/VAULT_DENIED_PREFIXES(defaults insrc/config.ts;DEFAULT_DENIED_PREFIXESmust keep hiding.git/,.obsidian/, and agent dirs) and rejects..traversal and absolute paths inread_note,write_note, anddelete_note. Preserve this when touching read/write/delete logic.
Conventions
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
