LLM-Wiki-AIResearch: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

LLM-Wiki-AIResearch CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from wintersdragon-c/LLM-Wiki-AIResearch. It costs 1,449 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for an AI-maintained research wiki. They explain the project's files, content structure, request routing, and rules for adding or changing research material.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when working on the LLM-Wiki-AIResearch repository, especially when ingesting sources, answering queries, or making structural edits.
Why use it?
They give a coding agent the context needed to edit the wiki consistently. This prevents it from placing content in the wrong area or breaking the repository's agreed structure.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01449 $0.01449
Opus 5 $0.00724 $0.00724
Sonnet 5 $0.00290 $0.00290
Haiku 4.5 $0.00145 $0.00145

Measured 11d ago against content hash db9c3e7c3156, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

LLM-Wiki-AIResearch CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

CLAUDE.md

This file provides guidance to Claude Code (claude.ai/code) when working with code in this repository.

What this repository is

This repository is an LLM-maintained research wiki. There is no build system or test runner; the repository itself is the artifact.

Read AGENTS.md for the full canonical schema and workflow rules. Read LLM-wiki.md for the original Karpathy gist reference, then read docs/superpowers/specs/2026-04-10-research-wiki-design.md and research-map.md before structural edits.

Architecture

Three layers:

  • sources/ — user-owned source folders for ingest input; never write compiled wiki output here
  • root wiki directories (topics/, papers/, ideas/, assets/, reviews/, logs/) — LLM-maintained markdown pages
  • schema files — AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md

Key files (read before every operation):

  • index.md — content catalog; read before every Query
  • log.md — append-only global timeline; append after every ingest, query-that-writes, lint, and proposal promotion
  • research-map.md — authoritative research space map; read before every Map stage and structural edit

Intent Routing

Route user requests by research intent, not by exact command verbs. Use docs/workflows/router.md as the concrete route map.

  • If a user mentions sources/... material and asks an analytic question, run a coverage check first (inspect papers/, topics/, ideas/, assets/ for existing structured coverage).
  • If coverage is missing or stale, run full ingest without pausing for confirmation, then continue into the requested analysis.
  • Read sources/<slug>/notes.md when present — treat it as an explicit intent layer that may override the chat-message signal.
  • Ask a clarifying question only when the referenced path does not exist, targets conflict materially, or the request is too ambiguous to resolve from repository state.

Ingest Pipeline

Run all 11 stages in order: Parse → Appreciate → Map → Positioning → Diff → Abstract → Critique → Mutate → Compose → Update → Log

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
