CLAUDE.md

wjx-ai-kit CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from wjxcom/wjx-ai-kit. It costs 1,945 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for wjx-ai-kit, a monorepo—one repository containing several related packages—that provides Wenjuanxing survey API access. It includes a command-line tool, a TypeScript software library, and an MCP server.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when installing, building, testing, documenting, or extending wjx-ai-kit, with the command-line tool preferred for most use cases.
Why use it?
They explain which package is the main product, how the packages depend on one another, and the required build order. This avoids choosing the wrong interface or building packages in the wrong sequence.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01945 $0.01945
Opus 5 $0.00972 $0.00972
Sonnet 5 $0.00389 $0.00389
Haiku 4.5 $0.00194 $0.00194

Security

Grade A, and why

wjx-ai-kit CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What This Is

wjx-ai-kit is a monorepo (npm workspaces) wrapping the Wenjuanxing (问卷星) OpenAPI. The SDK is the shared business foundation; CLI and MCP expose different interfaces with intentionally different scope:

  • wjx-cli — Commander.js CLI; command count follows wjx --help. Main product / primary entry point, recommended for nearly all use cases.
  • wjx-api-sdk — Zero-dependency TypeScript SDK (48+ functions, foundation layer). Used by wjx-cli and any Node.js project.
  • wjx-mcp-server — MCP Server (59 tools, 8 resources, 15 prompts) for AI clients. Secondary / maintenance-mode: only useful for clients with native MCP protocol support (Claude Code/Desktop, Cursor, Cline). It deliberately covers the CLI's core business subset; workstation capabilities remain CLI-only. The authoritative difference list is capabilities/capability-matrix.json; if in doubt, prefer wjx-cli.

When in doubt about which package to feature in docs / examples / new functionality, CLI first. Only add MCP-specific behavior when the user explicitly requests MCP support.

Build & Test Commands

Build order matters: wjx-api-sdk must be built first (both other packages depend on it).

# Install all workspace dependencies
npm install

# Build (from monorepo root) — CLI is the main product
npm run build --workspace=wjx-api-sdk
npm run build --workspace=wjx-cli
npm run build --workspace=wjx-mcp-server # secondary, build only when working on MCP

# Test (from monorepo root)
npm test --workspace=wjx-api-sdk
npm test --workspace=wjx-cli
npm test --workspace=wjx-mcp-server # secondary

# Run a single test file (must build first)
cd wjx-api-sdk && npm run build && node --test __tests__/survey.test.mjs
cd wjx-mcp-server && npm run build && node --test __tests__/helpers.test.mjs

# MCP server specific
npm run test:unit --workspace=wjx-mcp-server # unit tests only
npm run test:integration --workspace=wjx-mcp-server # integration tests only

# Run MCP server
npm start --workspace=wjx-mcp-server # stdio mode
npm run start:http --workspace=wjx-mcp-server # HTTP mode

# Run CLI
node wjx-cli/dist/index.js survey list

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
