Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.01061 | $0.01061 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00531 | $0.00531 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00212 | $0.00212 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00106 | $0.00106 |
Grade A, and why
recipe-skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 58 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
AGENTS.md — Recipe Skills
This repository is an open knowledge library for agent-assisted Workato recipe development, part of Workato Labs. It does not contain an application to run. It contains skills: bundles of documentation, validated templates, audited lint rules, and patterns that teach an AI agent how to generate valid Workato recipe JSON for a specific connector.
If you are an agent reading this file, your job is to load the right skills before generating recipes — not to run a build.
How to use this library
Skills live under skills/<connector>-recipes/. Each skill's entry point is its SKILL.md.
Load order is mandatory:
- Always load the base skill first:
skills/workato-recipes/SKILL.mdIt covers recipe JSON structure, trigger types, control flow, datapill syntax, and formulas. Every connector skillextendsit (see eachskill.yaml), so connector instructions assume this base is already in context. - Then load the connector skill(s) relevant to the user's request, from the table below.
- Within a skill, follow its references to
templates/,patterns/,lint-rules.json, andvalidation-checklist.mdas needed.
Do not enumerate or guess action/trigger names from this file. Each skill's lint-rules.json is the audited source of truth for valid action and trigger names; the SKILL.md covers when and how to use them.
Routing table
Match the user's request to a connector and load that skill (after the base skill).
| If the user wants to work with… | Load this skill |
|---|---|
| Recipe fundamentals only (triggers, control flow, datapills, formulas, API endpoints) | skills/workato-recipes/SKILL.md (base — always) |
| Salesforce (records, SObjects, upsert, SOQL) | skills/salesforce-recipes/SKILL.md |
| Slack or Workbot (slash commands, dialogs, messages) | skills/slack-recipes/SKILL.md |
| Stripe (customers, payments, refunds) | skills/stripe-recipes/SKILL.md |
| Gmail (send, search, labels, messages) | skills/gmail-recipes/SKILL.md |
| Jira (issues, JQL, sprints) | skills/jira-recipes/SKILL.md |
| Asana (tasks, projects, portfolios, goals) | skills/asana-recipes/SKILL.md |
Workato Data Tables (CRUD, search, batch, the workato_db_table connector) |
skills/datatable-recipes/SKILL.md |
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

recipe-skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository workato-devs/recipe-skills (18 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,061 tokens to every session, about $0.0053 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
