woterclip: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

woterclip CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from wotai-dev/woterclip. It costs 1,309 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A markdown-and-YAML plugin that routes GitHub Issues to different agent personas, or working roles, for task execution.

In plain words
What is it for?
Setting up the plugin in a repository, configuring personas, checking GitHub issue work queues, and running the heartbeat workflow.
Why use it?
It explains how the plugin and its per-repository setup fit together, so agents can pick, lock, and work on issues in a defined sequence.

Instructions file for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} variable. Also seen: mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions subagents; mentions Claude Code.

This is wotai-dev/woterclip's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on woterclip itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything woterclip configures →

Not installable: its command points at a path on the author’s own machine, so it runs nowhere else. The line is /Users/alexkim/Documents/Github-Mac-2026/woterclip.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01309 $0.01309
Opus 5 $0.00655 $0.00655
Sonnet 5 $0.00262 $0.00262
Haiku 4.5 $0.00131 $0.00131

Measured 6d ago against content hash 3d54c8996e89, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

woterclip CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What This Is

WoterClip is a Claude Code plugin (no runtime code — entirely markdown/YAML). It provides GitHub Issues-backed agent orchestration with persona-based task routing. A single Claude instance wears different "hats" (personas) based on GitHub issue labels.

Design spec: docs/specs/2026-03-25-woterclip-design.md (describes the original Linear-backed design — the tracker swapped to GitHub Issues in #1) Implementation plan: docs/specs/2026-03-25-woterclip-implementation-plan.md Tracker: GitHub Issues on wotai-dev/woterclip (conventions in AGENTS.md)

Architecture

Two-level structure

  1. Plugin (this repo) — ships commands, skills, agents, references, and persona templates. Installed via claude plugin add.
  2. Per-repo scaffold (.woterclip/) — created by /woterclip-init in target repos. Contains config.yaml, persona directories, heartbeat log, and lockfile.

Core loop

/heartbeat → Load Config → Check Inbox (GitHub) → Pick Issue → Resolve Persona
  → Validate Tools → Lock Issue → Understand Context → Do Work → Report → Update State → Next/Exit

The heartbeat is a skill (skills/heartbeat/SKILL.md), not code. Claude follows it as a procedure using the gh CLI and repo tools — no MCP server required.

Persona system

Each persona = directory with 3 files:

  • SOUL.md — identity injected into Claude's context (shapes behavior)
  • TOOLS.md — available tools and usage patterns (shapes capabilities)
  • config.yaml — machine-readable runtime config (model — enforced via the heartbeat's Do Work subagent dispatch; thinking effort, max turns, required tools)

Routing: GitHub issue label → personas map in config.yaml → persona directory.

Persona hierarchy

  • Board (human) – ultimate escalation target
  • CEO persona – strategic decisions, prioritization, architecture (label: ceo)
  • Orchestrator persona – mechanical triage/routing, default for unlabeled issues (label: none, is_default: true)
  • Worker personas (Backend, Frontend, etc.) – implementation, escalate to CEO

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
