What is jmap-mcp CLAUDE.md?

Repository instructions for a Deno email server that lets coding agents work with JMAP, a standard for managing email through web requests. They list the project commands, checks, hooks and required connection settings.

Running the server and its tests, checking types, formatting and linting code, installing pre-commit and pre-push checks, and connecting to services such as FastMail, Cyrus IMAP or Stalwart.

Project Overview

This Deno workspace contains a reusable functional JMAP email client and an MCP server built on top of it. It supports JMAP-compliant servers such as FastMail, Cyrus IMAP, and Stalwart Mail Server.

Both packages are independently publishable. Keep JMAP behavior in @wyattjoh/jmap; MCP files should validate inputs, adapt results to MCP content, and centralize user-facing tool descriptions without duplicating protocol operations.
