Project Structure & Module Organization
This repository is a TypeScript MCP server for read-only Maimemo study data. Source code lives in src/: cli.ts starts the process, server.ts registers MCP tools, config.ts loads environment settings, maimemo/ contains the upstream API client and types, tools/ contains schemas and handlers, and transports/ contains stdio and HTTP code. Tests live in tests/ and mirror the main behavior areas. dist/ is generated by the build; do not edit it manually. Use .env.example as the configuration template.

Coding Style & Naming Conventions
Use strict TypeScript with ES modules and NodeNext resolution. Keep imports explicit, including .js extensions for local runtime imports. Match the existing 2-space indentation, semicolons, double quotes, and camelCase names for variables and functions. Use PascalCase for exported interfaces and classes. Keep validation in src/tools/schemas.ts, API mapping in tool handlers or the Maimemo client, and transport behavior under src/transports/.
Testing Guidelines
Vitest is configured for Node and includes tests/**/*.test.ts. Name new tests after the unit or behavior covered, for example tests/config.test.ts or tests/studyTools.test.ts. Prefer focused tests with mocked API clients for tools, schemas, rate limiting, and transports. Run npm test and npm run typecheck before submitting changes; run npm run build when exports or CLI behavior change.
