ai-security-audit-pro: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

ai-security-audit-pro AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from xsourabhsharma/ai-security-audit-pro. It costs 350 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for a defensive security-audit toolkit. A security audit checks source code, configuration, dependencies, and authorized websites for weaknesses such as exposed secrets, unsafe headers, and API risks.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when running the repository's security-audit command against local files or an authorized website. They also specify report formats and rules for protecting credentials.
Why use it?
They define the required workflow and safety boundaries for security checks, including authorization, passive inspection, redaction, and non-destructive testing.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00350 $0.00350
Opus 5 $0.00175 $0.00175
Sonnet 5 $0.00070 $0.00070
Haiku 4.5 $0.00035 $0.00035

Security

Grade A, and why

ai-security-audit-pro AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Agent Instructions

Security Audit Pro is a defensive security audit toolkit. Use it when the user asks to find bugs, security vulnerabilities, OWASP issues, exposed secrets, dependency vulnerabilities, weak headers, API risks, or website weaknesses.

Core Workflow

  1. Confirm scope and authorization before active testing of hosted or third-party targets.
  2. Prefer local source, configs, lockfiles, and logs before live probing.
  3. Run the CLI from this repository root:
node scripts/security-audit.mjs --target <path-or-url> --mode passive --out security-audit-report.md
  1. For authorized URL targets, use:
node scripts/security-audit.mjs --target <url> --mode standard --authorized --out report.md --html-out report.html
  1. For authorized deep non-destructive scans, use:
node scripts/security-audit.mjs --target <url> --mode active --profile deep --authorized --scope-file templates/authenticated-audit-scope.md --out report.md --html-out report.html --pdf-out report.pdf

Boundaries

  • Never print secrets. Redact tokens, cookies, API keys, passwords, and private configuration.
  • Do not run destructive exploits, credential attacks, denial of service, persistence, stealth, or data dumping.
  • Mark scanner-only or client-side-only claims as Needs validation until server-side behavior is confirmed.
  • Always report skipped checks and residual risk.

Report Standard

Lead with confirmed high-impact findings. Every finding should include severity, status, affected surface, evidence, risk, impact, OWASP/CWE mapping when applicable, remediation, and safe validation steps.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
