Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00561 | $0.00561 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00280 | $0.00280 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00112 | $0.00112 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00056 | $0.00056 |
Grade C, and why
claude-init CLAUDE.md scanned grade C with 2 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

claude-init
Makes any repo AI-native by generating a complete .claude/ configuration tailored to the codebase.
What This Does
Point this at any existing (or new) repo and run /claude-init to:
- Analyze the codebase (language, framework, tests, CI, architecture, patterns)
- Bootstrap a test suite if none exists
- Generate ARCHITECTURE.md for deep project context
- Generate tailored
CLAUDE.md, agents, rules, skills, and hooks - Skills include: clarify (with spec persistence), plan, TDD, review, verify, subagent-dev, finish
- Every skill has rationalization prevention ("Red Flags — STOP" tables)
- Auto-triggered workflow rule — Claude follows the full pipeline without slash commands
Usage
# Install globally (skills → ~/.claude/skills/, templates → ~/.claude/claude-init-templates/)
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/yash-gadodia/claude-init/main/scripts/install.sh | bash
# Or load the repo as a plugin
git clone [email protected]:yash-gadodia/claude-init.git ~/claude-init
claude --plugin-dir ~/claude-init
# Then, in the TARGET repo:
cd /path/to/your-existing-repo && claude
# Type: /claude-init
Architecture
See ARCHITECTURE.md for the full system map. Quick tour:
templates/— Template files that get customized per-repo during setup.claude/skills/claude-init/— The main generator skill (analyzes repo, writes config).claude/skills/onboard/— Quick onboarding skill for new devs joining a repo.claude/skills/update/— Refresh config when the repo evolves.claude/skills/doctor/— Validate generated configscripts/— Install script and helperstests/run.sh— zero-dependency self-test suite; run before committing template changes
Design Principles
- Progressive disclosure: Frontmatter stays tiny (~100 tokens), full content loads on demand
- Stack-aware: Detects framework, language, test runner, CI, and tailors everything
- Opinionated defaults, easy overrides: Generates best-practice config you can customize
- Security-first: Hooks block destructive ops by default
- Agent personas: Each role (architect, dev, QA) gets model-appropriate config (Opus for critical thinking, Sonnet for implementation, Haiku for fast ops)
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

claude-init CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository yash-gadodia/claude-init (5 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 561 tokens to every session, about $0.0028 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it C with 2 findings (downloads and executes remote code, makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
