In plain words
What is it for?
Building, testing, type-checking, packaging, and maintaining the Mazelingo Chrome extension.
Why use it?

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00863 $0.00863
Opus 5 $0.00432 $0.00432
Sonnet 5 $0.00173 $0.00173
Haiku 4.5 $0.00086 $0.00086

Measured 8d ago against content hash 18bbc709714c, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

mazelingo CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Mazelingo

Sentence-level bilingual mix translator。

Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/mazelingo/bhdngeocokoeblnnlhjibojcadefimpi

npm install # 依存: wxt, typescript, vitest, playwright (devDependencies)
npm run dev # wxt (HMR付き開発サーバー)
npm run build # wxt build → .output/chrome-mv3/ 生成
npm run zip # wxt zip → mazelingo.zip (Chrome Web Store配布用)
npm run compile # tsc --noEmit (型チェック)
npm test # vitest (ユニット/純ロジック + jsdom DOMテスト)
npm run test:e2e # playwright (ビルド済み拡張を実ブラウザでE2E)
  • UIフレームワーク不使用のTypeScript(strict)。ビルドはWXT(エントリをバンドルし.output/に出力)
  • test/ に LLM モデル動作検証スクリプト (test_llm.ts, test_models.js, test_deepl.js)。

  • entrypoints/background.ts — service worker。
  • entrypoints/content/index.ts + style.css — ページ注入(リーフブロック検出・改行境界での断片化)・翻訳表示UI(トグル/ツールチップ)
  • entrypoints/sidepanel/ — サイドパネルUI(設定/出力タブ、最大規模ファイル)
  • utils/config.ts — デフォルト設定とマージ処理
  • utils/translation.ts / utils/content-logic.ts / utils/dom-overlay.ts — 純粋ロジック(テスト対象の seam)
  • public/vocab_data.json / public/situations.json — 学習コンテンツ (web_accessible_resources)

プロンプトは utils/translation.tsbuildTranslationMessages を参照
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
