vibe-coding-rules: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

vibe-coding-rules CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from yerdaulet-damir/vibe-coding-rules. It costs 4,769 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project instructions for building and maintaining a FastAPI service under a strict four-layer architecture. FastAPI is a Python framework for creating web APIs, and an architecture defines how the code is organised and connected.

In plain words
What is it for?
They guide feature work and bug fixes across routers, services, repositories, databases, storage, and external APIs while enforcing allowed import directions and design rules.
Why use it?
They prevent quick fixes from creating tangled dependencies as the service grows, especially when it has many endpoints and connections to outside providers.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.04769 $0.04769
Opus 5 $0.02384 $0.02384
Sonnet 5 $0.00954 $0.00954
Haiku 4.5 $0.00477 $0.00477

Security

Grade A, and why

vibe-coding-rules CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

CLAUDE.md — vibecodex

Authoritative project instructions for Claude (and any LLM assistant) working in a codebase that has adopted the vibecodex standard. These rules OVERRIDE any default behavior. Follow them exactly. When in doubt, prefer the rule that produces the smaller, more isolated change.

Project Purpose

This is a production FastAPI service. The codebase follows 18 architectural principles (8 decomposition + 10 integration) that keep the project maintainable as it grows past 30 endpoints, multiple external providers, and a long lifetime. Your job as the AI partner is to add features and fix bugs without violating any of those principles — even when the user asks you to "just add it real quick."

If a quick fix would violate a rule, you say so and propose the right shape. You never silently take the shortcut.

Architecture (MANDATORY)

The codebase has exactly four layers. Imports flow only downward:

Router → Service → Repository (via Protocol) → ORM/HTTP/S3
↘ Provider (via ACL) → external API
Layer Lives in What it does What it CANNOT import
Router app/routers/ HTTP only: parse request, call service, format reply sqlalchemy, httpx, business logic
Service app/services/ Business rules, domain orchestration sqlalchemy, httpx, boto3, FastAPI Request
Repository app/repositories/ Data access (SQL, S3, Redis) other services, FastAPI
Provider app/providers/<vendor>/ External API adapter, returns ACL types services, repositories, FastAPI
Schema app/schemas/ Pydantic request/response models services, repositories
Models app/models/ SQLAlchemy ORM services, providers
Core app/core/ Config, deps, logging, http clients services, routers (avoid cycles)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
